Ajax.

Only started because regular no.9 Brobbey was ill. Will he keep his place when Brobbey is fit again?

Aside from one season , he’s been ***** . We robbed Ajax . Even if he came back (he won’t ) he won’t be anywhere like last season . He truly was a one season wonder . He would have left on a free had it not been for last season, and many fans saying they’re glad he’s gone

He’s not starting because he hasn’t looked good enough in training and he’s not good enough to be in the first team of an elite club like Ajax .

I don’t want him back

Them genius fans still glad he's gone? See that the "one season wonder" scored another two already tonight. Scoring at a rate of about a goal every half an hour.

Like this last year, showed his value in the early games with all round play but started off scoring slowly but we all know what happened later, really hope he is a major success.

Both him and Gyokeres for Sporting are scoring goals in their respective sides. Shows the championship is on a par with a lot of European leagues, except Spain, Italy and Germany.

Scored two, missed three !!! He struggles to get in the team ahead of Brian Brobbey. The more he scores the more pressure he puts on the others though. Good luck to him

Don’t think he has played loads of minutes or had much impact
Squad: 13, Starting eleven: 9, Substituted in: 4, On the bench: 0, Suspended: 0, Injured: 0
He's had 1 assist. Finished 2 of the 9 games he's started.
He is playing in Serie A which is a big step up for him. Looks like he normally plays on the right of a midfield three. He was probably doing about as well as you could expect until getting sent off. Feels like he gets a lot of red cards.

From what we seen of Payero at Boro, I'd be surprised if he managed to be successful playing in the Serie a. But looking at the league table, there's a good chance they'll be in the Serie b next season which is probably a weaker league than the Championship.
