Seeing Grimsby getting that soft penalty at Southampton last night got me thinking.Are we the most unfashionable team in England,Paddy nearly gets his head knocked off,decision nothing given.Dael nearly loses an eye,no punishment,and the one that still narks me Dean Ashton breaks Schwarzers cheekbone and Harewood tries to remove Southgate head with his elbow nothing given.

I think the Europeans that know us see us as a smaller, but significant club in the Uk and class us as an ‘artisan’ team….a team with plausible and interesting history

It isn't so much the decisions as the lack of media discussions about the decisions,the EFL show just brushed it aside.A more fashionable club and they would of been up i arms.

Ignoring the refereeing aspect, you were fashionablein my house in ?1973 when I was looking for a team to support. Jack Charlton took over managing your lot and Bobby Charlton took over Preston. One team at the top, the other at the bottom, so naturally (even though I preferred Bobby) I became a Middlesbrough "fan".

It lasted, sort of, until I was 17 and started actually following Burnley by going on matches. Still, those red kits with the white band were well smart.
