You verbally abusing a fellow fan is far worse than any booing that happened. I don’t agree with the taking the knee now but I don’t boo but some people do. It’s their choice and not in any bit racistYep.. there was a bloke.. late 50’s 2 rows back from me. Typical thick as sh1t type. Heard him boo so I turned around and told him to shut up… got a glare back but he couldn’t say a thing back to me.
I think most of us go to support our team.. not to listen to utter morons get upset at a team of professional sportsmen and role models showing a gesture against racism.
Hope that answers your questions
Now if you wouldn’t mind answering one of mine.
I’ve seen people post on here say that when people boo a gesture against racism, they’re not being racist… in that case could you explain why you think they are booing? Remember it’s a simple gesture against racism.
I agree. But not racistAnyone who booed Watford taking the knee is a grade A numpty.
Anyone defending people booing Watford taking the knew is just an attention seeking pillock
Just my opinion.
So you’ve chosen to read my post but not answer my question. You verbally abusing a fellow fan is far worse than any booing that happened. I don’t agree with the taking the knee now but I don’t boo but some people do. It’s their choice and not in any bit racist
I agree. But not racist
I think this thread is proof that it is acheivng something.I don’t know whether taking the knee is achieving anything anymore
This incident seems to prove that there is still a need to keep on working at removing racism from the game
how on earth is booing an anti-racist gesture not racist? You verbally abusing a fellow fan is far worse than any booing that happened. I don’t agree with the taking the knee now but I don’t boo but some people do. It’s their choice and not in any bit racist
I’m not sure this thread is a big enough sample of evidence, but anyway, wasn’t really my point, my point was that even if you’re unsure, why boo? I’m not sure using a dock leaf on a nettle sting really achieves much but I don’t boo people doing it.I think this thread is proof that it is acheivng something.
Well if you weren’t insinuating that I apologies. But you related it to George FloydHere we ago again, people making assumptions to fit their own agenda - easy to see how people were burned as witches a few hundred years ago isn’t it
It’s free country, so if you boo expect to be called a racistI didn’t boo. I heard it and didn’t give it a second thought until now, then enjoyed the match.
It’s not racist. Not sure why it’s annoyed some people.
Take the knee, don’t take the knee, boo, don’t boo. It’s a free country
Starts 'Did you enjoy the match' as a retort but only seems to post on this thread....Poor Greasy. Posted on this thread just after 6pm. I come in from my night out and he's still at it. It's actually devastatingly sad when you think about it.
Can only white people be deemed racist?Wonder how many on here claiming booing an anti-racism gesture isn’t racist are white?
