The sad thing is, EVERYONE knows he lied. Just some are prepared to let him off unless they are left with no other option but to jettison him.
I think they are being snakey politicians. I reckon everyone knows Johnson is going, but they want him to go with as much of the sh t stuck to him as possible.

Edit: Plus I'm not sure anyone else is mad for the job at the moment!

Sky News are reporting on Twitter that

A Downing Street source has backed up Dominic Cummings' claim that Boris Johnson was made aware in advance of a Downing Street drinks party during the first COVID19 lockdown.

Another lie to parliament. At some point someone in the Tory Party has to pull the plug on this criminal enterprise. Did he purge the last decent Tory?

Until photos come out, and I mean proper visual proof not just ones we've seen so far of the garden, there will still be millions who think it's nothing to be concerned about.

This is a power cabal therefore do not underestimate the sheer will to cling on no matter what it takes. He doesn’t give a dam what people think about him, just that he can keep power and the Tories will sell the soul for power
Make no mistake about it

Not really. We thought they were lying before. Now people are confirming we were right to start with that they were lying then.

even a broken clock is right twice a day. He might be doing it for revenge, but that doesn't make it any less right

"They're all it!!!"

I honestly worry about people who'll defend and deflect from Johnson, especially now. I wonder what is wrong with them.

Not just Cummins. Another Downing Street source has confirmed it to Sky News reporter Beth Rigby. Plus there is another report elsewhere of 2 sources confirming it.

From a BBC article....
"Two other former Downing Street officials told the BBC they remember Mr Cummings telling them that day he had warned the prime minister not to go ahead, before the drinks gathering took place.
