Boro Fan - 3 Year Ban

So what. Does having beer for sale and being able to have a bet mean you shouldn't act respectfully?

Lots of shops sell sweets and lottery cards, restaurants are for families but you can still get a drink.

Why does going to a football match mean you can act like a complete chunt?

This sort of behaviour spoils the football experience, it doesn't enhance it. The more that behave this way being shown the door the better.
You should have a right of reply.

Football is better with chants, songs and rivalries. Football violence has no place in the game. Chants, gestures and name calling are not violence.

Many may favour the silent stands, the dry bars and the overpriced confectionery.

Give me some decent banter and shouting for my team any day of the week. UTB!

Nobody is asking for quiet, just respectful behaviour. Gestures and offensive chanting do nothing for the game. It's not supporting your team.

newy thinks coz there's a bar and a bookies you can go back into the stand and start throwing a few Fs around and offering people out. :ROFLMAO:
If anyone had a dead cert limp home after a bet in Ladbrookes and went outside and started asking to fight everyone would you expect the police to turn a blind eye?
Of course not. But because it's in a football stadium it's OK?
Ludicrous.

I look forward to watching the police move in and arrest the vile Sunderland supporters who will be chanting 'Paedo' at Boro fans next season at the Riverside. Every man and his dog know they will chant that disgusting word and nothing will be done to discourage it. This mans punishment is way over the top. That day was toxic with pure hatred spouted, and most of it coming from the Derby fans.

Is it OK to punch someone if others are doing it?
Is it OK shop lift because someone else is shoplifting.... etc etc etc.
This notion that because the Derby fans or Sunderland fans or whoever break the law it's justification for someone else to do it. Again, ridiculous.
The guy broke the law. Admitted it. Got punished.

would you expect the police to treat identical criminal acts in a similar manner, or just prosecute one in a thousand cases.

Being silly now. Of course they don't have the resources to prosecute thousands if they all chant vile abuse.
Plus, the guy threatened violence as well.
I think he's been a bit unlucky tbh and made a scapegoat. As I said up there, hopefully it'sll act a deterent to others who wanna act the c0ck at a the match.

No, I don’t think a fan should get a 3 year ban for calling a group of fans vvankers that made death threats and tried to recruit hooligan firms to smash up boro.

I’ve explained myself, it’s pretty simple. I don’t need laughing face emoji’s.

Who’s been punched? Who’s been shoplifting? No one? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
