They have a good core of players who have been there, done it in the Championship, and I think certain players will stay and show loyalty to Dyche. What makes you think they'd be such a shoe-in for autos?
A lot of their fans are worried sick as they think they'll have no chance of coming back up. They're riddled with debt, plus they have a team that are currently not used to winning a lot of games and playing 50+ games a season.
Looking forward to watching it this weekend, but no doubt Sky will show the Liverpool and Man Utd games.

I think Ashley’s millions were what helped Newcastle bounce back. Everton are in a very different place financiallyThey have a good core of players who have been there, done it in the Championship, and I think certain players will stay and show loyalty to Dyche.
Tarkowski, Keane, McNeil, Gray, Maupay, Simms.
They will also sell out every game. I think that will make a big difference, just as averaging big home crowds helped Newcastle to bounce back twice at the first time of asking.
Work in Leeds so surrounded by Leeds fans, everyone of them all fine with getting the pish taken. Not bothered if they stay up or not, would definitely prefer Everton to go down
Reckon that would be enough? They have a good core of players who have been there, done it in the Championship, and I think certain players will stay and show loyalty to Dyche.

Their big earners probably wouldn't be much use to them in the Championship anyway. We found that out the hard way when we brought in Braithwaite and expected him to tear up the league. You really need players who have the right attitude at this level. It's a tough tough legaue.Reckon that would be enough?
Obviously their fans will be overly negative about the whole situation - most fans are when it's about their team.
But I don't think they'll bounce back as convincing as some say. Certainly not like what Burnley have done.
They have a good few pro's for this league, however, they will need to have a mass overhaul with a lot of their big players/earners leaving.
Doucure, Pickford, Onana, Mina, Iwobi, Garner?...all these will be on big money and will no doubt need to be sold to help with the sizeable debt they have.
They'll keep a good few players probably, - Tarkowski, Patterson, McNeil, Gray, Godfrey, Simms...but not sure if that would be enough.
I'd love for us all to find out, but I don't think we will.
True, Everton could arguably be the biggest club ever to be relegated from the PL. However, if you're their parent club of say Archer & Ramsey, and you see the way the likes of 'Boro and Sunderland want to play and what they've done for previous young loanees, would you rather them go to Everton, or the other two clubs?Who are Ramsey and Archer likely to sign for if they're given the choice of Boro and Everton?
Definitely the words of a man who doesn't give a "****" about Leeds
Are you sure you live in Yorkshire? Doesn't sound like you have the best grasp of where it's boundaries are.
(I agree it's not a derby, but I think it's also possible to hate teams who aren't classed as a derby).
Yeah, that's true, although I still suspect Villa would ideally want them playing in a side they believe are most likely to be successful.True, Everton could arguably be the biggest club ever to be relegated from the PL. It's the parent club who will have the final say, not the player, especially for their development.
You do realise Newcastle and Sunderland are also in different counties to Middlesbrough?I don’t give a **** about Leeds , that’s why . They’re a club over 60 miles away in a different county....
....The only clubs I don’t like are Newcastle and Sunderland
You do realise Everton are also a big club in a big city? They’re a big club in a big city and belong in the premier league . Would like to see Everton relegated
I lived in Leeds for a good few years in the late 80’s early 90’s, it’s a rugby league city.I don't buy as much into the hatred of Leeds as some, but then I started following football in the 80s, rather than the 70s, which seems to be the root of much anti-Leeds sentiment.
Having lived in Leeds for 3 years, during the O'Leary heyday, I was struck by the relative indifference of the city towards its football club. You just didn't get much sense of a buzz about football that I'd expect from any other place I've lived. I do think there's a some truth in the Leeds-fans-don't-come-from-Leeds argument.
