Boro shirts in random places

Yes, I live in a small town in northern New Zealand and a few years ago was in an even smaller town and saw a group of young men and women and one of them had a Boro top on. I walked towards them and as I got close, pointed to the lad raised my arms and shouted 'Stevie Gibson's red and white army' expecting an excited response. The group was visiting from Thailand as part of a tourism group and the lad couldn't speak much English and was very perturbed at this crazy man yelling at him (this was pointed out by their tour guide/interpreter) so I explained the significance of the shirt to me, she explained to him and he said he bought it at a market in Thailand before he flew out as needed another shirt.
He then kindly offered to sell it to me for $50 ... I declined as he was only about 50kg and I'm a couple or three clem more than than ...
 
How about the town centre in a shop!!!

That lad had opened his shop in dundas arcade today I think.

I was hiking through ulan batoor few years back....and came across a herdmsan wearing the datsun cleveland top...
Freaked me the foo* out
I didn't have mobile with me
No signal but he had no clue who the boro.were
I asked him in broken Mongolian
" who scored the fastest hat trick for boro mate" and he stared at me with a big toothless smile and said " was it Alan kernaghan " !!!!😊
 
Saw an Ugandan driller in a Cellnet home shirt coming off shift Lake Albert (the Ugandan one not Albert Park). Also saw a taxi in Tripoli, Libya with a Boro badge in the back window (maybe got it off Gazza). Also saw a bloke in a Boro top getting escorted out of the lounge in Lagos airport Nigeria by security but I think he was defo from Boro (hammered as I recall).
