Yes, I live in a small town in northern New Zealand and a few years ago was in an even smaller town and saw a group of young men and women and one of them had a Boro top on. I walked towards them and as I got close, pointed to the lad raised my arms and shouted 'Stevie Gibson's red and white army' expecting an excited response. The group was visiting from Thailand as part of a tourism group and the lad couldn't speak much English and was very perturbed at this crazy man yelling at him (this was pointed out by their tour guide/interpreter) so I explained the significance of the shirt to me, she explained to him and he said he bought it at a market in Thailand before he flew out as needed another shirt.
He then kindly offered to sell it to me for $50 ... I declined as he was only about 50kg and I'm a couple or three clem more than than ...
