Boro v Sheff Utd Press Conference 2 Mins

I've seen nothing in Payeros 2 starts to suggest he's anywhere near 'ready'. I am giving him the benifit of the doubt that he's 'adjusting' or maybe the gaffer doesn't like him.

That said he's maybe just not very good. He definitely doesn't look like a 'gem' who's going to light up the Champo. I think we can all agree he's not Warnocks signing.

I presume he's been lined up by Scott and maybe one Norwich had an eye on. It's one thing fitting Norwich's style and another fitting our system.

Doesn’t excuse Warnock singling him out. Awful man management

I think being over critical of the new players coming in after they have played bit parts and only a few games is harsh.

You could say players like grant hall, peltier, howson, bamba, mcnair, fry, tav and dijksteel look nowhere near ready also. They have been awful all season. Trying to shine/blend into a new team that has no shape, no way of controlling a game is going to be impossible.

The manager should start looking at his regulars/favourites as they are letting him down aswel as his own tactics.

He should start by looking at himself!

The prime wrath of NW was the match officials not his players.
That’s part of the problem though. The referee made a decision in the 86th minute. How did that impact the performance up until that point? How come Payero is called out for not tracking runners but Howson and McNair are not? The most animated Warnock got in his press conference yesterday was when asked about the sending off. In the article Rob posted he’s talking about having no luck. These are the things that really start to grate when you’re not winning. We’re not even performing properly. He has to stop the endless moaning and finger pointing.

I have just watched the press conference and really am not sure why there is criticism of what he has said. Some people are just looking for sticks.
How many of the critics of it actually watched it?

He is aware the team have started poorly, he has tried to play new singings who are patently not ready (not saying they are no good) and has thanked the crowd for excellent support.
The budget is much smaller, the recruitment was later than ideal and it is probable that he has players he personally wouldn't have chosen.
I'm as concerned as everyone else about results AND performances; there are clear reasons to be concerned, but the reaction on this thread is in my opinion way over the top.

I really hope we win tonight, for the club, the fans and for Warnock.
I wish I felt confident that all posters felt the same.
