Boro v Sheff Utd Press Conference 2 Mins

Yeah. I think we do need patience now.
We have been starved of football for over a year - and it wasn't the same at all, was it, without the fans. Can we give it more time? The signings should be good. In time.

I think we would all be prepared to give it time if there was a plan, but there isn’t. Well not for this season anyway. Who knows what will happen next year, but this is already starting to feel like a wasted season. We are already way off the top 6, with zero signs that things will improve.

I like Warnock, or at least I did. He always came across as open and straight talking, but now its just nonsense and blaming everyone and everything.

I dread to think what will happen if we go a couple of goals down early on tomorrow night.

I'm sick to the back teeth of the constant bemoaning of the officials, Warnock needs to take ownership of his own sides perfomance.

I think he meant signings from abroad in one summer.

If he did, weve only made 3. Still find it a bit hard to believe hes never signed 3 players from abroad in one window before.

If a manager in 2021 cant bed in just 3 players from abroad, id suggest they're not up to the task of managing a modern football club.

Of those only Payero cant speak English. The way he goes on youd think it was half the changing room.

I looked at his Cardiff and QPR promotion seasons and he didn’t sign more than two from overseas in each of the pre-season windows, so maybe he’s telling the truth there. Maybe he does find it difficult to integrate other cultures into the group. I suspect that integrating players from abroad is easier when you’re winning games though. That’s the bottom line here really. Win tomorrow and Saturday and most of what we’re talking about will subside for the international break. Win tomorrow and Payero’s language skills will be irrelevant.

I like Warnock as well, but somethings not right between him and the club, He seems to be going through the motions, I wouldn't be surprised if he walked.

its not about him been xenophobic, it about him wanting experienced players who can hit the ground running. He likes tried and tested experienced championship players because the league is so difficult for newcomers.

It was the same for all sides then and it is now. We looked awful last season, nothing has changed in that respect

Morsy going says that isn't the case.

I don't for one minute think Warnock didn't approve of his sale

He also said that he couldn’t fault our crowd so why doesn’t he take advantage of us by playing attacking football, rather than sitting back like we did against Blackpool and Reading?

I think giving him the chop now after Scott has only been here a few months would be a mistake. Let's give Scott some time to find out about the club, find a successor and then look to move Warnock on. If this is the end of the season then so be it, we've waited a hell of a long time for some future planning... No reason to rush things.

Its also a lie.

Think we have 5. Dijksteel, Hernandez, Payero, Sporar, Bamba, Siliki.

(Uche might play for Uganda, but he's English isn't he?).

His Cardiff promotion side had 10 according to wiki.

Bamba, Manga, Zohore, Gunnarsson, Damour, Grujic, Gounongbe, Traore, Hoilett, Wildschutt.

So he's talking out of his **** again. Getting more and more like Pulis by the day. It's getting old and people don't like being treated like idiots.

Spot on Festa

This conference doesn't seem to add up to what he said post match about not faulting the effort etc.....My main gripe with Warnock is I am not sure what we are trying to do, it's a bit similar to Monk and Strachan in that respect.
