questions not having any depth, when NW says he has never had so many foriegners why wasnt he asked what he means... is he happy with this? Is this a negative? does it affect his team talks?

It’s pretty difficult when the ball is being booted over your head all of the time. Even Pirlo or Iniesta would struggle with these ancient tactics.
 
Sounds like Payero’s out, maybe Siliki and Sporar too! One or two options if Matt Crookes is suspended? Didn’t think we had that many players!!
 
Does make you wander why Warnock sticks around. He can’t be enjoying it at his age given how much he has to moan about.

It’s not bad on paper, but we will have the same old problem of lack of creativity in midfield.

Think we have 6. Dijksteel, Hernandez, Payero, Sporar, Bamba, Siliki.

(Uche might play for Uganda, but he's English isn't he?).

His Cardiff promotion side had 10 according to wiki.

Bamba, Manga, Zohore, Gunnarsson, Damour, Grujic, Gounongbe, Traore, Hoilett, Wildschutt.

So he's talking out of his **** again. Getting more and more like Pulis by the day. It's getting old and people don't like being treated like idiots.

We play like that at home against apparent lesser opposition, like Blackpool, and end up getting beat.

The only managers in recent years who have tried to attack is Monk and Woodgate, which says a lot!

Yeah I think if Crooks is cleared to play he will instead of Watmore but expecting it to be a very “English as a first language” starting 11.

Warnock tried to attack as well, to be fair. He tried to open us up a bit after the January transfers but it didn’t work.

I agree viv, but as you say it didn’t work and he reverted to the negative defensive shïte we’ve become accustomed to.

Seem to remember Mendez-Laing playing wing back a couple of games.

The most attacking we’ve looked this season was against QPR with Spence and Jones playing either side of the striker. Spence was gone shortly after and Jones now finds himself in and out of the team.

We’ll, Warnock has clearly disagreed with the transfers of Payero, Siliki and Sporar. He wanted championship players?!?
 
Dear me.

As someone who never wanted him in charge, it feels odd to be the one who will defend him.

I may not like his methods and I certainly don't like his constant harassing of the match officials... But, he is our manager, he is trying to get us playing and winning and I think he will get us doing so. Sacking him now would probably affect longer term plans that are in the pipeline. Show some patience and stick with it.

Steady men.
 
There’s definitely some sort of rift going on in the background. It just seems ridiculous to continue down this path when we all know it’s going to be different once this season is over anyway. It looks highly unlikely that we’ll be going up this season so might as well start preparing for next season now. That seems a crazy thing to say 9 games into the new season, but we are just kicking the can down the road and it’s not fair on us fans who have waited well over a year to start watching our team again.
