Bottom 3 going into an international break

Not the season we were hoping for....to put it mildly
Midfield is a disgrace, why oh why have we ended up with such a slow ponderous Midfield, someone needs to be accountable for this, such poor Management/recruitment.
So disappointed so far

All is not lost yet!! After so many players in and out you need to give them more than 10 games before they are branded relegation fodder.

Like I said on another thread I'll start wetting the bed after the Huddersfield game if we haven't turned it around. If we are still in the bottom three some serious questions need to be asked.
 
Why wonā€™t wilder play Forss or Hoppe up front with Muniz? Watmore is not a striker, although heā€™s good at running with the ball and taking people on, he is clearly not a striker. I suppose Akpom will come in if heā€™s fit for Coventry so letā€™s hope thereā€™s a big improvement up front at least
 
This international break has bought Wilder a bit of time away from the headlights of a press conference, not that it seems to faze him, will probably laugh and joke his way through it anyway, remember Wilder is just one of many managers just passing through and will never be as invested in this as any of us.
 
The players are out of form. They are capable of at least doing okay in this division.

It can be turned around, the question is will it be and when?

No manager will be ā€œinvestedā€ as you describe. None.

To be fair give me a good old relegation battle than boring mid table mediocrity any day!,
 
Problem now is a win will only keep us in the position we are in or there about.

To get up the league now it will need a long sustained unbeaten run as we are playing catch up. Do every defeat is another step back.

And is the pope catholic? You are now trotting out truisms. Glad itā€™s the international break and you can calm down a bit.
 
Hopefully thereā€™s some truth in either Stephens or Delph, because if either are match fit they would instantly improve our midfield. We are desperate for someone to play the DCM role, and we donā€™t have anyone in the squad capable of it. Weā€™d still have the issue of lack of pace and creativity in the rest of the midfield but it would be a start.

I mean other sides can afford as weeks or poor results we canā€™t anymore.

Remember under warnock to stay up we had to play promotion form ok we are not there yet but this league can get away from you quickly and you can be fire fighting all season.

I doubt that the two teams below us and the 8 above us will all win. Surely some of them are playing each other?
