Bottom of the table :'(

We know Carrick likes to give the table a head start....expect our season to start in October!!

(Trying to stay optimistic guys and gals)

it's not a great feeling, we're more players short of a decent team than I expected. We lived the dream for a few months last season with Archer, Ramsey, Giles and Steffen but besides the departing Akpom the rest aren't good enough to get us up

Ok I’d be the first to accept that you can’t read too much into the table after two matches. But I was a Shoot League Ladders kid and you didn’t wait until October to start doing them, it was the highlight of opening day to work them out, especially as Grandstand didn’t.

So on that basis I’d still like one of our stats gurus to comment. When were we last bottom of the second tier? I can’t remember us being bottom for decades. Probably not since the 89-90 season and not even certain we were then.

Kinnell. 60 years old and not even thought about Shoot League ladders (how fiddly were they?) until just now .... probably 50 years.

Yes, I remember when they didn’t do League tables until at least three games had been played. I think once under John Neal we were third in the first table. I think we were probably bottom of Division 2 in 82/83 under Bobby Murdoch or maybe 84/85 or 85/86 under Maddren.

I tell you what’s ruining my weekend.

Struggling to pay the mortgage
EON ripping me off for the gas and electricity
Having only £5 left in my bank account until pay day - and I’m on an average salary
The bloke I’m trying to start a relationship with being such effing hard work
Smart **** replies to my thread about Chuba leaving last night

Quite frankly losing 3-0 to Coventry doesn’t even come close.

FWIW I think the recruitment team have let us down badly
