Bouncer in Middlesbrough

He needs jail time for that. Absolute bully just look at the size difference, scary to think people like that are on the doors in Middlesbrough and they are supposed to protect people.

He will meet his match, they always do and yes definitely needs charging for that!!

Does that doorman think he's the Undertaker?

I'm glad there's some footage so he can never work on a door again and the lad can take him to court, hopefully he survived that horrific ordeal

just watched and the bouncer looks fully in control and has not lost his cool . Makes it worse really......

Not condoning or saying it’s acceptable but does annyone actually know what happened before this clip. It looks bad but is this is a reaction to a previous incident? Too many people these days think they are untouchable and can say and do what what they want without any consequences.

That said the reaction is massively over the top and was potentially life ending or changing.

He will have lost his badge for that, hopefully arrested. On Saturday I was on the door and kicked 2 people out for being drunk, they spent about an hour about 5ft away from me giving me abuse and questioning why i was a doorman, and I don't look like a doorman etc, they attempeted to go to a bar across the road so I went to their security and told them they were being a **** to me and not let them in, I walked past them and said enjoy your night fellas, they proceeded to come back and spent about half an hour outside the door giving me abuse and making crying gestures, I was s***ing it walking home.

Looks more like a Kevin Nash jacknife powerbomb, tbh.

"Doorman" (let's face it he's a thug) should be losing his SIA badge.

I'll give you that, that must be scott hall stood by his side with a tazer

doesn't even get involved only to see if the lad is still breathing!

The Empire already had a bad rep

Nothing will happen. Stuff like this happens in The Empire every month. People need to boycott the place... but that won't happen either.

I worked the doors in a couple of places in Boro in the early to mid 2000s when I was 18 to 19 year old. I worked in a pub and night club near the train station and also the Arena. It was ok doing it but wasn't worth the money for the amount of chew you get.
It's funny because two of the places I worked the doors I had been kicked out of previously by the same doormen I ended up working with(obviously before I started working the doors)🫣.

He'll lose his badge now it's on social media. All it takes is one email to the SIA, they come down hard on stuff like this.

You'd like to think that, but from first hand experience, in the exact same nightclub... it doesn't happen.
We had a SIA badge number and the bouncers full name... He was still working there months later.

After reporting it to the SIA?

That's weird, I've seen lads lose their badges for much less than that

Horrendous. Whilst I understand there are always two sides to a story, your job as a bouncer largely involves restraining attackers and assisting tired clubgoers (in my experience). It doesn't involve Kevin Nash power bombing young adults into the pavement. Any bouncer worth their salt will agree with this.

Obviously I could be way off but the body language from the other bouncer suggests to me that there was no real threat to them, otherwise they’d both be at it.

The situation wasn't as bad as the video from last night - two mates too drunk - not doing anything "wrong" but falling all over the place so deserved to be thrown out...
First one got thrown out fairly, bouncer did nothing wrong there, but the second one was walking out on his own and called the bouncer a "power mad c u next tuesday" on the way past...

The bouncer being sober (and probably "trained" in all kinds of situations) should have just ignored it... He was walking past, pretty much out the door already... but he took him to a dark corner with another 2 bouncers and punched him in the ribs/stomach a few times before throwing him out the side door...

Loads of witnesses, including bar staff, but no "proof" because I didn't dare get my phone out to film it. Reported his SIA number and full name to the club and SIA... Nothing happened.
