I am in the britt was excellent last night. I loved watching him wind up Robiro, the little nark deserved all he got. As for him biting, does anyone actually believe that Britt would do that. He may be rubbish on a 1-1 with the keeper, but he is not a dirty player, quite the opposite he comes across as a thoroughly decent bloke.

If he was in my team and an opposition player was in my face, I would expect my team mates to step up too. If I got stamped on, or an attemted stamp I would also expect my team mates to react.

NF got less than they deserved. They should have had zero points and at least 2 sending offs.

I hope Britt comes out at the weekend with the same fire in his belly

It's frustrating because he's a decent striker at this level. He was clearly fired up last night and put in a great performance because of that. I just wish he could play with the same fire in his belly every game.

I agree with others that Warnock needs to keep him in the team. He will have bad games but if he plays the majority of the remaining games he will end up with 14/15 goals to his name by the end of the season. No way will Akpom come close to that.

First of all credit where is due,Britt was excellent last night which makes it all the more frustrating when you know he has it in his locker to produce that.
Any footballer that produces 3 good games in 10 is a poor footballer for me.
I will not look back on his time at our club with any fondness whatsoever unless he gets the winner in the play off final.

Whatever you say about Britt he has shown he’s a better striker than Akpom.

That may be damned praise but we need to get rid of Akpom in the summer. A 1 in 5 striker at best and not the man to lead the line in any sort of promotion or play off charge.

Will we get promoted with our sole striker (as we play one up front) scoring around 10 goals in a full season, we need someone getting 15-20 and Akpom will get nowhere near that number.

The problem with Britt is that he's easily dominated by an imposing centre half. The NF centre back pairing last night were pretty weak so he was able to play his normal game. He isn't capable of producing that every week unfortunately.

He gave an excellent captain's display last night, wound them up so they lost their discipline. Got butted twice, didn't roll around like a Nancy. He was a credit to the armband last night, led the gamesmanship at the end to seal the 3 points.

I thought that was one of his best displays in a Boro shirt.

I never criticised his performance. I criticised his reaction as captain. He is meant to be diffusing situations not chasing after people goading them. I'll never change my opinion on him. He is a fraud who has and is still robbing this football club. over £7m in wages. For what return.

I agree in general he has been *****. I haven’t seen you praise his performance either. I criticise him on a daily basis but when he does what he did last night he deserves credit. He stuck up for his team mates and got a wee nob head sent off. It’s football it happens. Personally thought it was good to see

Let's be honest if we were playing sunday league and someone stamped on you, you lamp them. It's not unproffessional, it's defending yourself. The little d*ck got what he deserved and the wind up is, rightly or wrongly, used by many clubs and many players.

Why do coaches stand on the touchline whinging to the 4th official, or lambasting the referree, it's to get an unfair advantage that has nothing to do with football. Blame the game not the players.
