Cole Palmer or Phil Foden?

Foden is a fantastic dribbler. He actually reminds me a bit of Juninho in how he moves with the ball.
Let’s see him do it for England, has he ever had a good game for England ?
I don’t particularly watch a great deal of Man City lately so his game must be transformed so can’t wait to watch him take England games by the scruff of the neck 🤔

Are you seriously judging him, based on a few performances for England?

I bet you thought Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard weren't great neither then.

I don't even know why I'm engaging with someone who thinks Rashford is better than Foden.

Great examples in lampard and gerrard who never really produced their team form for England (!)

We’ll see with foden but hilarious to see people getting upset!
Who gives a fcuk
We support Boro
Fcuk everyone else!

Foden is streets ahead of Palmer and has been for years. That’s not to say Palmer isn’t a terrific talent with a massive future at the top level but Foden’s on a different planet imo. The form he’s showing now and for much of the past few months is the sort of form people have expected from him since he was 17. He is absolute class.

That's the thing. We don't need to 'see' with Foden.

We already 'know' with Foden.

Football fans in general...and if you don't give a fcuk, then why are you in the thread?
To give my opinion but I don’t particularly care and if someone rubbish’s my view I’m not going to rush for the kids skipping rope !

Just giving my opinion mush and a bit of extra context.
Plus, foden isn’t ‘there’ because when he does it consistently for England, for me, that’s when he has arrived….but he can’t even get in the team mostly

Off the top of my head, I can think of several good games he’s had for England. He was good in the World Cup set up two of England's goals against Senegal, scored against Wales was good against France. Was very good against Italy when we beat them 3-1 recently.

The truth is probably in the middle, he hasn't been poor for England but he hasn't consistently brought his best form either. He could and probably should be starting to take control of international games at his age now. I suspect this summer he will.

Has this thread been settled now? Felt a bit of a stupid question when it was originally posted after palmer had scored 2 penalty’s.

Foden is top TOP drawer, over 250 games played for Man City, over 30 England caps, he’s won it all domestically, champions league winner, all by the time he’s 23.

He’s a ridiculous talent

It would be a tragic waste if we sacrificed the best of Foden to get the most out of Bellingham. You do that every time if you have a single stand out player but when you have multiple, you have to find a way to get them playing together. I’ll say it again, Foden, Rice and Bellingham in a midfield three is the way to go.
