McNair's been good against Gyokeres twice in a week. Steve Baker only had one crack at McManaman. Let's hope we have the same semi final success.
Bizarre thread. Makes us look pathetic as a fan base with thread titles such as this
I wouldn’t be signing 3 Coventry City players if we got promoted.IF we go up , I would take 3 of their players in
Ben Wilson GK
Gus Hamer CM
Victor Gyokeres CF
IF they go up , they would probably try and take
Ryan Giles loan
Cameron Archer loan
Aaron Ramsay loan
All local and no outlay .
They are a good side and will take some beating .
Get your point , need to look higher probably .I wouldn’t be signing 3 Coventry City players if we got promoted.
Get your point , need to look higher probably .
BUT , finances may dictate who we get .
I am confident MC and SG will make the right choices .
I don't expect a Ravanelli . But it would not surprise me with our history of signing superstars .
Let's get the job done 1st Diego , we are jumping the gun , Wednesday is huge , as is Tuesday 2nd leg , the bonus being we will know who we will face if we get there .
I’ve already put my hand up and said I was wrong here. It was an emotional post straight after the gameThe thread author's opinion is scarcely reflective of the thoughts of those who've posted in response.
Anyone of a Coventry persuasion who ignores the general consensus for a solitary post which is uncomplimentary is not worth worrying about.
True. Maybe wrong is the wrong word but I pretty much written him off, I was a bit over the top in my criticism looking back as I wasn’t having his body language at the time. But he has turned it round, it’s up to him to maintain it now and show everyone he’s good enough. But did you get it wrong, Diego?
McNair has stood up to the challenge of going one on one with one of the best attacking players in the championship over two games (or a game and a half) and has done exceptionally well. He's had some good performances of late but that hasn't always been the case and with Dael Fry also being in the squad there were many calling for Dael to start over McNair which was fair enough at that time IMO. It certainly wasn't a ridiculous or over the top opinion to express.
This doesnt particularly relate to McNair but more of a general comment. If a player goes through a bad spell then people can comment on that. A return to form by that player doesn't mean you were wrong.
