Dan Barlaser squits after the Norwich Game?

Noticed how all the players stayed on the pitch to applaud the fans after the Norwich game.

Danny B bolted straight for the tunnel not as much as a wave or a thumbs up.

Is he struggling to get up to speed and make an impact here at a much higher level.. or did he just have the diarrhoea squirts?

He's probably frustrated. I wouldn't read anything into it.

The lack of game time is slightly suprising. It appears others are ahead of him in terms of minutes and tactical substitutions.

He's gone from a 90 min 'star man' at Rotherham to a team that's flying and has an established starting 11. He will just have to be patient. We may not see much of him until next season.

He's not replacing Hackney or Howson anytime soon. Howson just seems to get better.

Still think he'll turnout to be a cracking signing. Especially at the price he came in for.

I think it’s strange we are playing a loan player ahead of him off the bench. But Mowatt was very good when he came on. Think Barlaser just hasn’t to be patient and show his quality when he does come on.
I know what you're saying, but it's the same situation as the other 4 loan players playing - Carrick feels Mowatt was the best option for what the team needed. And as you and @parmoboy said he played very well - so the choice was justified

Haven’t seen any of him to suggest he is above any of the other midfielders in the pecking order. It may be a signing that turns out to be a slow burner and he will show his worth or if we end up getting promoted it may be one where he’s not a Boro player for long and he moves on. Let’s see, no writing him off yet.

Mowatt looks the better player to me.

Agree, he might need pre season to get into the team. We definitely haven't seen the best of him in his limited cameo's.

Hmm, he looked fantastic at Rotherham and quality signing to get over the line in January. Our level has turned up a fair few notches and it would be hard for any player to match that level and keep their place. I’ve watched him closely and don’t think his decision making is quick enough.
