Differing views of today's game.

If you watch that game tonight, and can’t see our obvious class and how much we’d batter dross like Sunderland, then you don’t understand football which is maybe why you ended up supporting Sunderland in the first place.
I actually think it's you struggling. Sunderland, like Coventry and Luton, aren't dross. All three have beaten us this season, Sunderland were the better side last time we played them. We didn't 'batter them'.

Funny how Coventry thought the referee gave us everything.

I felt he let a couple of blatant fouls go and a few soft free kicks to both teams, generally consistent overall.

Maybe they aren’t happy that he didn’t give any of the hand ball appeals their crowd kept shouting for. It was embarrassing at times. Clear chests / headers and they kept crying out for handballs.

About half of them don’t normally turn up so give them the benefit of the doubt.

You dont get extra points for looking good if we win 1:0 and it goes in of their goalkeepers A*** I wont care one jot.
Its the playoffs winning is everything.

Both games could go to extras and maybe pens so I’m thinking it’s the team with the strongest bench which will probably win the semis as well as the final

On the Sunderland forum the general consensus is that the game was boring dross, and neither Sunderland nor Luton have anything to fear from Coventry or Boro.

On the Coventry forum the GC is that the referee was awful and gave us everything.

People see very different things from different perspectives, but it's probably been like that ever since the first pig bladder was kicked.
I thought the ref got most decisions right, except that a) the elbow on McNair should have been minimum yellow, b) possibly red. Jones was definitely fouled but just outside the box, should have been a free kick and a yellow, c) persistent fouling on Jones no cards given, d) Chuba's yellow, he was fouled first which unbalanced him in the next tackle, but he got the ball anyway.

Mackems, they're just idiots.

They are a long way from being past Luton yet.
Luton will throw the kitchen sink at them, they'll have lot of long balls to defend. I'd be looking to get the ball on the RWB slot and hit Adebayo coming in late at the back post, where the challenge will be for Patrick Roberts to follow the run and challenge him, ouch.

it was a sound job we did on Coventry and really should have scored 2 goals from Chuba..... Steady Eddy performance, Thought Paddy was up for it, Steffan had nowt to do. Giles was more defensive and not pushing forward as much as usual
