Diego, I am truly not not having a pop at you here, but who honestly cares about a professional footballers social media?

The fella is a wally and is obviously unwanted at our club. Why get radge at who the fool is following (or unfollowing) online? Life is too short.

We gave him his chance in the pro game. Without us he may never of got where he’s going to. There needs to be a level of respect there to the club for signing him and giving him first team chances in the first place.

Multiple people involved with the club have said his attitude was bad and needed work and very recently a retired Stewart Downing said the same thing. I am not massive fans of Woodgate and Warnock but don’t think they did a lot wrong with Spence, if he wasn’t applying himself he shouldn’t play. And let’s be honest he wasn’t brilliant for us.

It’s football, hardly a surprise that some players will have attitude problems, it’s about how you deal with them. he certainly didn’t show much of an attitude problem at Forest. Possibly they just dealt with him better than we did

That unwanted we got rid of the manager who sent him out on loan and the first thing the new manager did was ask if he wanted to come back!

What are we loosing out on? He is one of the best players in the championship and certainly the best in his position. Also far better than anyone we currently have at the club which is why he is going to a team in the champions league. Yes the money is good for us but we’re loosing a player with a huge future

I just don’t like Boro players being disrespectful towards the club. As he is still a Boro player right now. I agree he’s a Wally 👍

I genuinely couldn’t care less that he is leaving. He’s never done it in our shirt consistently so doesn’t feel like a loss. I just care about the money and trying to improve Jones as much as possible

Look at the managers and players he’s played under while with us, it’s no surprise the first proper manager he’s played under has allowed him to thrive. That would have likely been with us had we got Wilder earlier. A young lad coming into a poor side with no experience will never show any consistency.
Jones has been inconsistent most of the season yet some like to think he’s the next Messi. Fact is we’re loosing the far better player for not exactly much of a fee either. Regardless of anyones opinion on him he would significantly improve this side if we had him next season
 
I couldn't care less what Spence is up to. Particularly when it comes to social media ... he's not a Boro player to me hasn't been since he found form with Forest and made it clear he does not like being here or working with the manager who sent him out

I don't know the lad personally, but his attitude sounds shocking for a pro-footballer if some of the stories are true about him before he was sent away

The best thing we have done in ages. Jones come through and we are going to get a nice fee for a player I haven't considered a Boro player since he obviously found his place at Forest.

Let's see if Spurs have finally agreed on a deal in the coming days. Perhaps even Forest has agreed to one ..

Be nice to just get the ball rolling on our work and I hope we manage to bring in a few of the names that have been linked such as Armstrong, Gyokeres .. but those two alone will be the most difficult to acquire and surprising if we manage to pull them off

Has anything official ever confirmed that or is it just daft rumours of an attitude problem? Probably says a lot that these rumours came under two managers who are well known for being complete idiots.
To go from nowhere to one of the players of the season, promotion and some of the biggest clubs on the planet trying so sign him doesn’t exactly suggest much of an attitude problem to me

Yeh all I have ever heard is rumours of attitude problems. Nothing specific at all. Clearly his attitude can , if he has one ,be managed.
I think he should sign for Forest - they are clearly well suited.

Its Blindingly obvious to me that he’s got an attitude problem.

Not quite 100% "confirmation" but Stewart Downing was recently quoted as saying this about Spence:

I think more with him it’s about his mentality. He’s a little bit laid-back, he could be late at times, you need to be on at him and be aggressive as a manager ...

Now it depends how you interpret that but his words could be seen as reflecting a somewhat lazy and half-hearted attitude by Spence to the requirements of being a professional footballer.
