Do you class yourself as an animal lover ?

Do i consider myself a hypocrite? No I don’t, some might, but i do know everyone reading this has personal skeletons in their cupboards bursting to fall out.

Justifying eating meat because ‘others’ have ‘skeletons’
Ha.
Hilarious.

We have our first GRADE ONE hypocrite.
Congratulations. Not only that but loves the sight of his own words….(probably his own voice)
I don’t mean to cause any offence but equally don’t want to create any ambiguity.
Ha ha we have pog being a grade 1 buffoon I see, English not your strong point

I was not justifying anything, especially eating meat just because others, like you will, have skeletons. What a weird interpretations, classic misinterpretation to suit an agenda. You could cause a row (which is what you generally try to seek) in an empty room.

Firstly i have said i do not consider myself a hypocrite, but accepted others might, read my words. If people consider me a hypocrite that is fine by me. You really are a piece of work pog. As for the sight of someone loving the sight of own words and voice, have a look in the mirror lad, if you still have any that is.

A rather bizarre adaptation of the reductio argument Coluka, almost all of which I disagree with. However, that aside, please don’t harm wasps! They are incredibly important pollinators; like bees, but without the patience.
Sorry you feel my view is bizarre, but thats fine. As for wasps i don’t try to harm them as a first cause of action if that helps, but i do reserve the right to act in self defence.

Wasps will not attack unless provoked. I know it's difficult, but if you ignore them, they will go away (a little like some posters :) )

That’s not true, last summer my two sons were standing completely still when some wasps arrived and they were both immediately stung without provocation.

Sorry to hear that. I will re-phrase; it is very unusual to be attacked by a wasp, unless you are near the nest provoke it.

I am an animal lover, 3 pet dogs 3 pet cats ( plus a couple of feral visitors) and 2 pet cows. I also have 250 other cattle and 200 sheep.
I take pride in giving the non domestic animals as much care and attention as they need whether their life span is 15 years or 5 months.
In my youth I struggled to align eating meat with keeping livestock. Now I take satisfaction in knowing that the meat I eat from my own cattle has come from an animal that has had the best life I could give it.
I don’t see that as being hypocritical.

As a sheep owner have you ever shot a dog ?

Not a cat and dog lover. Cats are sly horrible things who want attention all the time.. Dogs should not be let out without a muzzle and some form of a nappy.
But apart from that I love wild life programs.
And I love meat.
😄😄😄😄😄

I’m an animal lover but with a different sort of attitude and that is all animals should be kept in the wild.

I don’t know if it’s sheer boredom but we humans have destroyed the animal kingdom not only by farming but also by domesticating animals for our own selfish use.

I now see animals like pigs, snakes and monkey and spiders just to name a few which are now considered pets which I find so ridiculous. The most ridiculous pet is the tropical fish which are kept in tiny little cases which become part of the furniture. I’d even go as far as to say many dogs and cats are purchased just to be part of the furniture.

If you love animals return them to the wild where they can live in their natural habitat, not in some cage or glass house where you can periodically say something to them.

It's a nice thought and the ex-CEO of the RSPCA talked of 'freeing dogs from the tyranny of the fire place'. How would we begin to undo 10,000 years of canine domestication?
