Eh

Our distinct lack of quality upfront cost us that. Against West Brom we could have had 3 or 4 with a decent finisher on the pitch. Today we could have had 2. It’s our lack of quality that will keep us from the playoffs unless we unearth a gem in January like we did with Archer.

Big noisy Boxing Day away crowd, three points would have taken us to the brink of the play-off places, plus we're playing the worst team with the worst defence in the division.

They say the life of a football fan is 90% disappointment. With the Boro, make that 95%.

Freak result - Rotherham are probably saying how did we win that
Yeah, we've all seen plenty of games like that. The set up to frustrate, defend the box, get a lucky break and then they have something to protect. You can read too much into it. Eight times out of ten we win that game, sometimes they'll sneak a nil-nil, occasionally you get a day like today. Ultimately, missed chances have cost us.

Got to forget about that .... unbelievable ... missed chances .... deffo pen .... fluke of a goal
We really shouldn’t forget about it, we’ve had similar issues all year when silvera is in the team, frankly Kavanagh would be more deserving of a chance than seeing this waster hit row Z 3 times a game. Getting tired of seeing Greenwood’s toothy smile after he’s wasted yet another great chance too, both of them can fook off back to where they came from, for all greenwood won us 3 points against Leicester he has cost us way more, 3 today for a start.

Same as hull
Rinse and Repeat
Still. We believe in Sir Michael correct ?
Well i do yes - the lad is still learning his trade and of course he’s making mistakes along the way, but he can’t exactly do much about players not finishing chances when they come along on a plate, or referees who won’t give clear penalties.

I must admit, I'd be tempted to send Greenwood back to Leeds, send Silvera out on loan to a League One club, and then bring in another winger in January.

I accept that these are development players and we can't expect consistency from them but Greenwood's general play is poor. It's not enough for me that he can chip in with the odd goal here and there.
