The main snag is it's a tweet from 4 months ago.
Georgians are foreign though, so he would be covered by the emergency window they're proposing.

My opening post where it says foreign players from Ukraine and Russia will be allowed to sign for other clubs!
The tweet from 2021 is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia saying "up the flippin boro!!"

The new transfer window will end on April 7th and will allow players to join clubs until June 30, 2022 with no consequences. 
“The suspension of a contract as per the paragraphs above will mean that players and coaches will be considered ‘out of contract’ until 30 June 2022 and will therefore be at liberty to sign a contract with another club without facing consequences of any kind.”
Surely this is something worth considering.. right? Effectively we can sign unlimited loan players from Ukrainian & Russia all of which have had their contracts suspended!!
How many places have we got left in our squad?
What areas could do with strengthening?

A big strapping, mobile, thug of a Centre Back would be nice.

Not sure how taking a Russian might go down. I appreciate our grief is not with the Russian people, but I’d hope and expect that any dubious links they had would be checked and cleared through work permit application.

It wouldn't be a Russian, it's foreigners who are playing in Russia or Ukraine that are allowed to leave temporarily.
Though I suppose from the wording, we could sign Russian players who are working in Ukraine.
