England fans don't deserve to ever win a tournament.

England fans are by and large alright. English people who adopt football every couple of years for ten pints, a fight and social media likes... yeah, call them whatever you want.

I suspect that those who troll footballers are like those twisted InCel characters. There are probably a hardcore element who do it craving for a screenshot in a tabloid.

Not nice to generalise like that. I'm an England fan and I know the majority are decent people. Don't be influenced by the media trying to paint us all with the same brush. There are racists in this country but it is also one of the most tolerant countries in the world.
 
What a bizarre opening post.. tainting a whole nation with the same brush!

In Gareth’s press conference this morning he said they already knew a lot of the posts came from abroad. I presume we should also ban the countries that these messages originated from too?

Sadly all countries, England included, has its fair share of neanderthals
 
I’ve been to enough football in enough countries to know it’s not just the English fans, especially racism.

That said, our overall awful behaviour is pretty much unrivalled, as I said in my thread about hosting tournaments.

i do think majority of fans are decent people, but it’s sad it gets overshadowed by a minority of scum.
 
If you don't usually follow football, and this tournament has been the first time you've really taken an interest I could understand why you might think England fans are uniquely bad. It's not really the case though. Lots of countries have a rotten element. Remember the boro fans treatment in Rome?
 
You might be surprised to have found out there are some proper nasty people in this world. I like to concentrate on the good, this tournament was good, this team is good, and is followed by some really good fans. Don't dwell on the bad, let go, celebrate how much we acheived and enjoy with all the like minded supporters

Hi! England fan here, been in London with my family all week, spending time ‘in the thick of it’ with people of all ages, nationalities, religions etc, etc all singing from the same song sheet, Flares were lit at Wembley and Trafalgar Square folks climbing up onto road signs and traffic lights.. but I didn’t see any of these keyboard warriors that seem to have taken centre stage. Sack them from their jobs, ban them from games (I doubt they’ve been to a match) but don’t paint England supporters with the same brush as some racist trolls on the internet. Maybe have a look at our racist prime minister and racist Tory MPs before you go calling all England supporters scum. Bang out of order.
