NZ needed 57 after Livingstone's over and they achieved that in three. We could have had another 15, even 20, and NZ probably would have won with the state of that bowling.

Given the way we were bowling, the pitch behaving and the fact they had only scored 7 an over for the previous 16 to get 57 in the final 4 I just couldn’t see it. And then enter Jimmy Neesham and Chris Jordan.

Jordan had bowled 2 overs for 10, bowled excellent through the tournament, and just got it badly wrong , they are a good team and batted better at the end, always easier chasing

We are up, just reading the comments back. Just goes to show you how sport can take you from elation to the dumps so quickly!!!!

Great game between to well respected sides, and played in the right spirit too. Always look forward to games with England as there doesn't seem to be any beef between the 2 sides.

3 finals in last 3 major tournaments, can't be bad. Hopefully people will stop calling them 'plucky' NZ from now on.
