Euro 2020 tickets

Haven't seen this posted, but forgive me it has already been mentioned.

Basically, UEFA is making us take a decision on our tickets before we even know if the games will take place.

I have tickets to two games in Dublin and paid £300 at the time. Have no idea what to do as I can't afford to lose so much money but was also really looking forward to the games.

Decisions, decisions

I may have spent it already, but what I mean is I can't afford for that money to go nowhere.

For the tournament to go ahead as planned across 12 cities that probably means most of Europe will need to be vaccinated before June.

It's not going to happen is it?

I think its highly unlikely this will happen in front of fans. UEFA will make sure it happens BCD though, or with limited attendances.

Seems inconceivable that they stick to the pan-Europe thing.

If you've spent it you can't lose it.

Apply for the refund if you need it back.
That isn't the point is it, if you have bought tickets for a game, that game may go ahead in a different location, possibly behind closed doors etc. Fans have deferred for a year remember. They may be holding on to accomodation, they may need to re-book flights. There is a great deal expense around this. And with it being multi location there are going to be far more fans affected then in other tournaments. Supporters should not be being forced to make snap decisions. UEFA should be honouring the fans and prepared to pay back in full when/if decisions are made.

Totally agree Rob.

Of course. I don't know what to do myself, feel like just taking the refund as I think its virtually impossible for them to let many fans in.

Am supposed to be going to Spain. When it was cancelled last year I thought at the time it was unlikely it would go ahead this year. My hopes were raised last summer but now it seems less and less likely. Still, this should be thrown on to individuals to make this decision now. Fans should be able to ask for a refund if they wish but this should not be a one-time only offer.

No it isn‘t.

I've got tickets for all four England group games and the last 16 in Dublin should be win our group. I'm just sitting tight.

Football Supporters Association came back to me and they already talking with different fan groups about this.
It is important that a unified message is put across on behalf of supporters from across Europe.

I managed to get hold of four semi final tickets in Rome. Don’t think there’s any chance of being able to make it now with restrictions and the possibility of it moving last minute.
I’d be surprised if it remains a multi country event tbh. Good chance of it being in the UK with a large amount of large stadiums being so close together..

Logic suggests that if the Euro's take place then they will not take place in full stadiums and may even be behind closed doors. I have tickets and will get rid of them as it is very unlikely I'll be able to use them

It could be held anywhere with a big field tbh, if there are no fans then I fail to see why a stadium is required.
