Not when its one of their biggest rating shows of the year it isn’t. Not everybody takes it as an affront.

Imagine if we sent along a team of lads that aren't pro footballers to the Euros in 3 weeks. And then complained the other countries were taking the pish when we inevitably bombed out with 0.

Whilst there’s definitely some political nonsense at times, one of the reasons countries sometimes vote for their neighbours is because the artists are popular in that region.

Not watched it in years though but have enjoyed the daftness of it in the past. Would maybe have watched last years cancelled one for Russia’s Little Big song “Uno” as they’re a great laugh and have some good vids on YouTube.

Yes I don’t think people realise that we basically subsidise this as a big part of the European broadcasting association and if we pull out it will leave a huge financial hole.
