How does this explain Germany getting zero points from the European public? Or Spain?

Well if it's political, statistically we need a Labour government to give us a better chance

Labour winners - Sandie Shaw 67, Lulu 69, Brotherhood of Man 76, Katrina and the Waves 97 (97 lucky we had the election 2 days before the contest).

Conservative winners - Bucks Fizz 81

As Bucks Fizz was pre Falklands at the height of SDP mania I reckon Dr David Owen deserves the credit

It’s worth watching for the totty and there’s usually some comedy/weird acts to laugh at - Italy with Maneskin were worthy winners i thought

Fair enough, some people believe it's political and some take it personally. If you take it personally then you have to ask yourself why we're unpopular, or if we just have poor entrants.
