FAO Rob@fmttm, issues with bank cards declining.

Yes, it is a problem with the external ticketing site and the new anti fraud requirements.
Just keep trying seems to be the advice at present.
These things normally need fixes by taking them off line. Maybe the international break might present an opportunity.
Hope it works out for everybody with those Chelsea tickets. Good luck.

Sorry Scally thought it was worth a try. Tried to buy a ticket on my wifes account with the card and it didn;t work. It was linked on mine and it did. Must be because I linked it before the changes.

Or it could be pot luck.. not sure.

This is the explanation I've had from MFC ticketing manager. Basically they're saying they were told the deadline for implementing these changes is June, but the banks/VISA have brought it forward. The banks are saying it is the fault of MFC for not bringing in the changes on time. Apparently any websites that use WorldPay are impacted.

Thanks for the update Rob.

I think given the issues with three high profile games, cash sales will have to be introduced at the stadium as a back up.

The Chelsea game if we are being honest I would be surprised if any tickets were sold over the counter.

It was all online or telephone tickets.

12 weeks away is after the end of the season. What if get to a play off final, a fa cup final and semi, play off first and second leg tickets.

People has this issue for the Man U game, spurs game, Derby game and the Chelsea game. The
Man U games was weeks ago.

Well it took them long enough to acknowledge this.
I suppose it could be a question of would it be worse if everyone suddenly swarmed on the ticket office by phone or in person.
Anyway, we had a meeting with them this week and have been able to report back.

Has there been any discussion with the club yet regarding Season Ticket holders being able to buy extra tickets ahead of non season ticket holders who have priority points? Any feedback from the club on his ridiculous situation?

Still tickets on the website for the Chelsea game don’t know if the ticket is open today to sell them.

Good luck to those who need one

Utterly ridiculous, I've been trying to get Peterborough tickets for the last 45 minutes.

Tried multiple cards (my debit card, my credit card, my wife's debit card, two of my dads debit cards) all declined. Also tried my Amex card but despite having a picture of the Amex sign on the pay window they don't take it.

At a loss what to do, as simply popping into the ticket office isn't feasible when you live 210 miles away from it.

It's unacceptable.
