god could you imagine what this forum would end up like if people were allowed to discuss things that were not part of the original post, it would be complete madness and a forum full of derailed topics

Not sure your conflation works though.

Fumes are a superset of both farts and vape and a whole host of other things. You don’t want me to use that word but it’s a perfectly acceptable word that covers both vaping and smoking

Yup you have got it wrong, I specifically stated that it was illegal to confiscate someones property. It really was as simple as that.
 
If stewards dont spot blokes stood at the back of the North stand with full pints during the Burnley game, they wont spot anyone vaping. There'll be a number soon to report vaping, alcohol, unruly behaviour etc during matches and you give a comment with block/row/area of the ground and it goes to stewards who act, not sure why it isnt a thing anyway cos people love to grass but dont like to just say 'excuse me mate do you mind not vaping here?'

Maybe that’s because if someone is arrogant enough to think that societal rules don’t apply to them, then they are showing sociopathic tendencies. They won’t like being called out on it. I’ve called out 4 people sat on trains chuffing away and only one apologised and put it away with no further attitude

I don't think vaping or drinking in the ground makes you a sociopath, just selfish, ignorant or a bit of a bellend. I wasn't being chewy i was being serious i don't know why some anonymous text-hotline isn't a thing it seems quite easy to introduce - Text the incident to the hotline which is monitored in the security hotbox who can then check cctv, send stewards over to intervene etc something like that would give alot of people peace of mind when they see it working, and i'd like to think repeat offenders would soon get sick of been told to stop vaping, sit down or whatever and it would eventually sink in they have to play by the ground rules.

Sociopaths disregard what most people see as societal norms. it’s a spectrum and most people behaviour is minimal. I wouldn’t say they should be regarded as sociopaths as such, but have some sociopathic tendencies. I wouldn’t want to label all that vape as on that spectrum but plenty will be.

As an example the police often watch disabled parking spots for people that park there illegally. Why, because people that do that have a disregard for societal norms and often have warrants against them. It’s a mindset that societal rules do not apply to them, they are above it. Only about 1% of people are full on sociopaths, but it’s way higher that have some of those traits.

Anyway, yes, ignoring your impact on those around you is being a selfish bellend, absolutely agree.

No it’s called vaping as a it’s one on the biggest marketing tricks of this century, and is done as an attempt to get around existing laws.

What next no officer I haven’t been drinking…. I’ve been imbibing.
