FAO Rob_FMTTM - Spurs & Chelsea Tickets

You get them and miss out. A mate of mine has a digital account but always walks down on a match day and buys his ticket. When he tried to get Spurs ticket it would not let him as he had zero points.
Surly they could add a code to your ticket to then redeem your priority points on the website

Poor way of distributing tickets, not much point in a points system when people who never go get to jump the queue via a mate.
Season ticket holders are already rewarded with a very generous discount

What's the point in this priory system and linking all ya friends accounts so they build points too if season ticket holders just bring their friend on the big game. What's the point in all the effort if none season ticket holders who attend 10-15 games a year don't have any prority. Also believe the 11 point mark is too low for the next batch should of been 25+. The club doesn't seem to care about regular none season ticket holders and its a joke
There should definitely be a low point mark though. Especially for big games. It often goes from 33 points to General Sale. I have 20 points, so they never help. (In the unlikely event that we did get to the play-off final at Wembley, I hope they do a 5+ points (or similar) so that you have a slightly better chance of getting a ticket over General Sale. (Could even be 1+ point I guess)).

Edit: I see they've done that for the Chelsea game, 11+ and 2+. I agree with the poster the poster above that dropping straight to 11+ seems harsh on people with 33+ points.

At the next supporters forum can you ask for an explanation as to why thousands of fans with priority points were passed over for the Spurs and Chelsea game in order to give season ticket holders an extra ticket?

I’ve had enough of this clubs amateur administration.
I assumed when i first read it that it was just poorly written on the website and it was just meaning that you could purchase for other season ticket holders also (as usual). Couldn't believe it when it was confirmed to be the case.
I just bought mine and my son's as usual, no way was i buying for anyone who doesn't normally go

How come this wasn't flagged as a problem following the Spurs game. I didn't see any complaints ??
I have posted that Nobby - I didn't realise it was a problem. We seriously might have been able to do something about Chelsea if it had been flagged up - perhaps it wasn't.
Anyway, I suppose it is important now that we don't see this Chelsea guest policy repeated in future considering the reaction from so many people.

My dad was getting tickets for Spurs and just told me they sold out. I had no idea this was in force for Spurs as well.

I was wondering that as well. How many people complaining where at the spurs game ? I got 2 extra tickets for my mate. He was at Man U and Spurs but has no points as he doesn’t have an MFC digital account and usually goes to the ticket office. I had no trouble getting tickets for Chelsea or Birmingham next week on the MFC site.

Anyway why on earth does it matter?
Because exactly the same arrangements were made for the Spurs game and everyone who wanted one appeared to get a ticket...Just wondering what's different this time.
Perhaps the evening game put a few off and nobody thought we would win......we are also a game away from Wembley now I guess 👍

It's a bigger game so obviously it becomes more of an issue, not that difficult to understand. Imagine this is in force if we got to Wembley? How many season ticket holders do we have? I doubt any tickets would make it to the first bunch of priority.
