First half never turned up pen denied offside goal crooks missed sitter at the death

Dust ourselves down and go again. Better team won, above us in the table for a reason, still just on the edge of play offs with a game in hand....things could be a hell of a lot worse

I said to my son we'll get one big chance and it depends if we have the composure to take it. Crooks really should have buried it and he knows it. I doubt he'll sleep very well tonight.

It has the feel of a game where one goal would win it. The Blackburn goal was a brilliant finish but terrible defending before it.

Sloppy from us, missed chances and too many passing errors.

However, I think that there is only Fulham who are fast enough and fit enough to shut us down like that for a whole game.

Still better than we were watching earlier this season and a confirmation that the director of football has a real mission in finding a striker capable of making the difference in games like this.

Agree the better team won tonight. For all we put all those forwards on our passing from midfield was woeful. Not the game to bring Payero on but he must start Saturday.

Best team definetly never won. We had more clear chances and dominated possession . They scored a good goal from a poor mistake by us but we definetly did not deserve to lose that, if Connolly can keeps the ball down and Crooks scores one of his headers or we get that first half penalty who knows what the outcome could of been. We had an off night in front of a goal and got punished for a mistake, it happens. Move on to the next one and put it behind us when we despatch Coventry.

and crooks is looking like a really important player. he is involved in everything. 2 good chances tonight but one was cleared off the line. i think he is a great signing

Game of two halfs. They were easily the better team first half, we were better second half. But again, concede a sloppy goal (against the run of play) and miss chances. Costs us. Again. Frustrating, but move on. UTB 👍

Best team we’ve played since Wilder arrived, and we still should have got something from the game. Our finishing remains hugely disappointing, but we’re extremely competitive. They’re a good side, so are we. Nothing too much to worry about. UTFB
Spot on

Blackburn were no great shakes but as always they seem to get the breaks against us. That been said we were dreadful first half. All our decent play comes from the right, the left handside is very weak in comparison we need to sort out that as well as a partner for sporar.

Andy Carroll always scores against us, we always play crap and generally lose against Blackburn.

These universal truths sadly may never change. Hopefully they will soon.

I am really impressed by Wilder and the way he wants to play in the big scheme I am pleased with the state of the football club.

The stick some of the players are getting tonight is ridiculous.

Dont forget we should have had a stonewall penalty before they scored.

At half time I thought we could only get better and Blackburn will probably be very frustrated that they didn’t make more of their opportunities.
At full time I thought we did enough to win, especially in the second half, should have had a pen 1st half and they scored from an absolute fluke Paddy fresh-air-kick.
Nothing to worry about. Looking forward to the next game!
