Gentry Day, again, sorry.

I think it’s a much better idea than trying to do a minutes applause every game.

Shouldn’t have to be an away game though.
I have always been against a minutes applause at a set time for a fan who has died and tend not to join in. I can sympathise with anyone dealing with grief but I always feel that people are projecting their grief onto others.

The idea of fans celebrating all fans that have died on a set day is a great idea and something I would love to see our fans take on. My only question would be, do you do it at an away game or a home match?

We already have fans complaining they cannot get tickets for away games.

I’d much prefer this than clapping on such and such minute for someone I had no idea passed, it would be a lot more meaningful and I think it could create a great atmosphere. I personally think we should it for a home game rather than an away game.

We have already done it in a way.
Ernie Ragbo day at Villa.
Frankie Bam Bam day at Blackpool.
Just needs sorting to a game once a season when there will be plenty of tickets available.
Could be at end of season but might be easier to sort at the beginning of a new season each year.

That was more about the Beer Belly Crew getting together for two characters that many fans knew.

We could do it, but maybe the game would have to be further south where we knew we would get an allocation that we would normally struggle to sell, but if we are in the premiership I'm not sure who that would be?

Got to be a home match, surely ? Why would you do it at an away match (yes, I know Preston did - not sure of their rationale)

I think it’s a great idea. Always a shame to lose a loved one but I wouldn’t want and expect it for me. I would much rather be remembered at a celebration day. Alex Ferguson, one of the greatest managers ever, has gone on record saying we changed the face of football when we spent money. I agree with the Brazilian connections being celebrated, bit of colour, but of music and great memories.
