‘ Eating healthy’There is no scientific evidence to support an alkaline diet. It's another fad diet by someone selling a book that does nothing but makes you think about what you are eating (which is a good thing). If you switch to healthy food, whether it is acidic or alkaline, it will be good for you.
Anecdotal evidence is not reliable.
Medicine has come a long way and cancer survival rates are getting better all the time but it is because of medicine, not diet. Looking after yourself, eating healthily and exercising is definitely recommended but restricting yourself to a specific diet with no supporting evidence is unnecessary.
What does that entail though ?
It’s just a saying.
I believe dairy (animal milk especially) and it’s enzymes and antibiotics fed to cows etc to avoid infection are consumed by people unknowingly and god only knows how this effects people….some people must have systems that are more robust than others but the others are developing cancers that are difficult to treat.
That’s just one example of a food stuff that’s widely misunderstood as being good for us.
On balance I think it’s very unsafe imho
