Great news Roberts coming back

Sorry to be cynical, but I am cynical about this type of journalism.
What the Gazette actually says is:

"A deal has been struck for the Manchester City forward to return to the Riverside after his impressive half season stint on Teesside last term, say the Telegraph today."

I can't see anything in the Telegraph about it. I wonder if they're referencing the Lancashire Telegraph, as reported on the other thread? This, in turn, only says:

"MANCHESTER City's Patrick Roberts has been linked with a return to Middlesbrough on a season-long loan. "

And that could mean little more than it being speculated on in an online forum.

I'd be very happy to see Roberts back, but I'm not convinced this is any more than a third hand rumour.

No they mean the telegraph, the journalist tweeted saying it’s virtually done.

I would be happy to have him back, however, he needs to learn to release the ball sooner.
He might have had the time north of the border, but in the Champo the defenders are on you like a tramp on chips!

If he does return he has to begin delivering the ball a bit earlier than he has done, hes prone to take to many touches and sometimes the pass is gone before hes reacted.
Decent skills and mazy at times but there has to be a end product to what he does, slow upstairs at times for me.
But NW will keep him right.

I thought exactly the same when I saw this - seems like people are jumping the gun a bit here. Lets hope it does come to fruition.
