Half season tickets?

Which half tho? First 6 games and the last 5 would be OK. The middle bit of the season is a bit tedious .......

I think they should offer half season tickets as the outlay for a full season might be too much for people to manage, its extra revenue, whether only a few hundred or thousand take up the option.

They’re a good way to convince people on the fence to get on board early and save money on the next season ticket. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to keep season tickets on sale all the way through until the last few home games of the season and just knock off the cost of each game as they pass.

Half price?
I'm sure you know this, but I mean at price per match. The way the club structure things, you would have to charge it at more expensive than a full season ticket, but less than a single matchday ticket.

How do you do this?

Let's say a non early bird season ticket in the North Stand is around £27 a match. A current match ticket is £29 or £32, with an additional £1 discount for members. Let's say that they go up £1 next season, which I don't think is unreasonable. Where do you pitch the half season ticket price?

I had an idea a few years ago which would be to allow a part season ticket, one for fans that can only do so many games a season, pro rata should be more expensive than a normal ST but cheaper than walkups - the options could be Saturday only ST or midweek only ST.

These would have to be bought upfront at the beginning of the season.

Another option could be a 15,10 game ticket which would could be priced accordingly.

Too complicated; the club couldn't administer it. Was yesterday a weekend match for example?

The half season ticket will be 50% of the value of the non early bird season ticket depending on which stand you choose?
