Hartlepool's league survival

If they beat Crawley, they're back above them.

If they lose to Crawley, winning today wouldn't have kept them above them anyway.
Crawley will get 6 even if lose to Pools I think.

They've made some really weird managerial decisions since Dave Challinor left. It's no surprise that their on-field performances have been so poor when they've had 5 managers since promotion.

The Graeme Lee sacking looks even worse in retrospect.

Unfortunately they're unlikely to get the consolation prize of a derby with Darlington to look forward to next season as they're looking less and less likely to make the National League North Playoffs.

Darlo have a game in hand of some of the teams above them but still have Kings Lynn to play. So still a chance but their form has gone in the last few weeks. 8 games since they won.

Seems to happen every season, their form just dips as they get towards the end of the season.

Stockton Town have made the playoffs a couple of divisions below though. Would be good to see them pushing up towards the National League North in the next few seasons.

Come on Crawley, can’t do with Hartlepool. Shame about Darlo’s poor form , did they sell their top striker?
Yes Mark Beck was top scoroer in the league, sold to Solihull Moors after they met his release clause. Although Jacob Hazell took over his place at the top for a while. We also lost Dodds who'd been on loan from Boro, he went to Hartlepool. Couple of injuries and form has nose dived, 1 win in 14 I think after being top at Christmas.
We just can't compete. The top teams in this league have twice the budget we do.

Where they going to play if that happens?

Marske are struggling to meet the league above requirements ground wise

Marske's biggest issue with the ground was due to it being in a middle of a housing estate. I seem to remember they had complaints about the floodlights from residents that were hindering their progress.

Didn't a housing company offer to buy Marske's ground and offered to relocate them out of town?
