Honest opinion of Man U

After watching Man U v Villa last night here's my thoughts

De Gea. Good goalie on form but can't keep out all shots with no defence infront of him
Dalot speedy full back but can't tackle
Lindelof likes to wander about a bit occasionally defends
Varane Rolls Royce of a defender without the engine
Shaw England International main defensive weapon stand still and use bulk to foul attacker
Greenwood Reads a lot of papers and believes what it says
McTominany Good player improving all the time finds it difficult to carry 10 other players on his back
Fernandes Was good once when he was trying
Fred Makes Adam Clayton look like a positive attacking player
Rashford His body is on the pitch. Let's hope he doesn't find his mind before they play us
Cavani Used to be dangerous when his teammates passed the ball to him. Used to run about a lot but now realises he will still get paid if he just turns up

Hopefully Ronnie gets a game before they play us. If he does his head will surely explode
Now if typical Boro were playing such a poor team we all know what would happen, but they are not typical Boro anymore

Man U 0 Boro 2

Someone's been at the sherry.

We'll be charged up, hopefully Wilder will have them bouncing as a team.
But as individuals it's a career opportunity, right in the shop window.
Can't wait.

Last night seemed like a case of let's keep watching the replay till we find a reason to disallow the goal! Be honest, who were shaping up better for a proper cup tie?

I thought they were very poor and unless something changes we stand a very good chance there. Hope we can put on a really good show on live TV.

I'd back villa to beat them on Saturday at Villa park. In fact I am going too.

They just look god awful. Way to many players on big money and very little motivation just going through the motions. It's been a last big payday for many.

Last night was probably the first chance I've seen Lindelof play 90 minutes.

His passing was woeful, his positioning, all over the shop. I don't know what happened to Mcguire last night but our attacking style now would have him in shreds.

My only concern would be Ronaldo conning the ref.

I hope that Man U bring back Ronaldo into the side because it had been suggested that he could upset the spirit (or lack of it) of the side and he certainly has nullified any positive effect that Fernandes was having.

I just wish they weren't the only Club in Britain, because that's the impression the Media give of them.

They have a legacy, a bit like Liverpool after their domination in the eighties. Man Utd are not a top six side now. Rashford need to find a new club and Lingard should be playing regularly elsewhere.

The new manager has a certain formation and way of playing in mind but the players they have just aren’t suited to it.
Fernandes, Rashford, Greenwood, Ronaldo etc all don’t really fit in it.
McTominay looks there best player as he suits it quite well.

Exactly this. I'm quite surprised that the new bloke has attempted a 4-2-2-2 when it's obvious their players are all best suited to 4-2-3-1. The whole recruitment in the last few years has been geared towards that.

If I was a Man United fan I'd be wondering how a team that looked pretty good last season, has regressed massively despite adding Sancho and Varane. Those two signings were long in the making but Sancho in particular has looked a shadow of the player in Germany.

Perhaps the main reason is the return of Ronaldo. It's hard to say without any knowledge, but that one move might have negatively impacted the atmosphere in the changing room.

Less than the sum of their parts.

Despite much hype at his arrival, I'm not sure an "Interim manager" can have the authority of a long term appointment.
