How do you feel about Derby County now?

Well it's been a few weeks since the game, and hopefully the heat of that fixture won't run into future ones. Now it's calmed between us , how do we feel?

Personally I didn't want them to go out of business at our hand, and hoped they would stay alive. But I have to be truthful now their attitude changed the way I feel, their stance on it being everyone else's fault, the constant digging at SG, so much playing the ' victim' , it was a form of arrogance,. + their attitude of bringing it to our ground and running around the town seeking bother before the game, that was going to end in tears for them.
Personally I don't care what happens to them now, well enough to maybe have a party when they go down.

I always felt it was pretty sneaky to cheat the rest of the clubs and then blame others for their situation .
They we’re basically trying to steel premium league money .
Get them relegated and they can start again with new owners

I don't want them to go out of business, but I do want them to get relegated this season.

If they are, I have no animosity towards them anymore and would be fine with them bouncing straight back up.
Though a few seasons down there would be fair punishment for years of cheating.

A couple of decades in the lower leagues playing their local rivals such as Chesterfield, Burton Albion and Mickleover Sports would suffice.

Nobody wants them to go out of business .. would be a real shame if they do.

However, their fans are still deluded and in denial about things. I often have "chats" with them on Twitter and they are perpetually the victim with the EFL still out to get them. Gibsons actions will never be forgotten, etc etc ... yet fail to grasp that here we are 2 months after Gibson was "paid off" after "he was the one blocking potential bidders" and they STILL can't find somebody to buy them. The problems they face today .. stadium issue, debts .. are the same issues that stopped a takeover 2 months ago or 6 months ago. It's obvious Gibsons actions were nothing more than a small hiccup in the process.

I know it's only a snap shot and won't be reflective of the entire fan base - but from the ones I talk to they still can't accept the fact that their club is the ones who broke the rules, their club is the one who got caught out, their club that got punished by the EFL and it's their club, due to their "cheating", who impacted upon the fortunes of others. No. It's still EFL conspiracies and Steve Gibson pulling the EFL strings why they haven't yet been saved.

So I don't want them to go out of business .. but I'd want them to get busted down the pyramid as low as they can go.

Compare and contrast the behaviour of the Reading fans. Not a peep out of them, took their punishment in their stride. I still think that both teams should be relegated, the points deduction is not sufficient punishment compared to the rewards if they had got away with it. No, I don't want DCFC to go out of business they have many decent fans. Not least Blondie, honorary alumni of this very site. BUT if you go on their board the narrative, largely accepted on those boards, is that Boro and Wycombe (but mostly us) are to blame for delaying the possible take overs that were about to happen in January...

The simple fact that the huge issue of the stadium remains unresolved seems to pass them by. That the club without a stadium, without a training ground or indeed more than a couple of players is the name of DCFC and pretty much worthless is lost on them. It is sort of darkly amusing, I confess I keep glancing thinking that the realisation could happen at any moment... but no.

A club I previously I had plenty of respect for but not no more. Their fans have been a disgrace and some of the comments just ridiculous about our club and owner. Would love it if they do a Sunderland and have a good few years down in league 1. You never know one year they might get to the semi final of the papa johns cup

They are largely irrelevant outside of Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire.
Happy to take see them relegated (at least once) by way of punishment.
Would not necessarily want them the go under, as they must have some decent fans.

I would take that statement a step further and say that Derby officials, Quantum and the Derbyshire local media have fuelled the flames aimed at our club.

I said on another thread, Derby fans need to be looking at what Quantum are doing or what they are not doing. I think there is a rabbit off somewhere and I honestly do not think it is in the best interest of the club.

I also feel it's now gone on too long and time to cut them adrift.

Nothing will happen until the summer and even then without a stadium.. if they can get extensions etc they’ll limp on for another season in league one starting with a 15 point deduction.

Personally, I feel if they haven't got an owner in place by the summer then it should be curtains for them. They shouldn't be allowed to start another season in the same vein.
