How much do we get for latte lath in the summer

If a PL club did come in for him and he wanted to go, we'd have to sell. Gibson pretty much said that the other night with Rogers.

His form is terrific. Yet it's an double edged sword. The more he scores and impresses the more interest will come from other clubs.

I'm very confident that some have had him watched over the last few weeks. They couldn't fail to be impressed.

I have a feeling we may struggle to hang on to him this summer. Frankly we are in no position to turn down decent money for any player. That includes Hackney. We are a championship club. All championship clubs sell players. It's unfortunate but a fact.

So if a prem club or one of the newly promoted to the prem teams offered 15-20mil it would be very difficult to turn down. Almost impossible. Also you can't deny him the opportunity to double his wages and play in the top flight. The classic 'his head would be turned'.

You have to say last summer's recruitment is lookin superb. Latte Lath / Rav are going to be worth a few quid to anyone who wants them. That's on top of selling Rogers.
It’s not difficult to turn down at all - you just say NO

If we have any kind of ambition for promotion we need to be building the team around players like him and not selling on. There is plenty of dead wood in the squad that needs and will be moved on. The last thing we need is another slow start while we "wait for the team to gel".

How many goals has Chuba scored this season in that dutch league where Alves scored for fun 🤔

To be fair hasnt he been on the bench most the season

10 in 22 according to wiki

This is a misleading stat.

He’s played 790 minutes, so not even 9 games worth of time on the pitch.

He’s scoring at a rate of more than one goal a game.

I think all our players are in the shop window. The question is what amount is an offer we couldn’t refuse and who would replace him at a fraction of the cost. It’s too early for him to leave, he needs to develop more, become a better player and in a season or 2 COULD be a top player

Latte
Hackney
VDB
Jones
Dieng
Forss

These are the players we must not sell this summer if we are serious about getting promoted. We should be building our squad around them

and I'll also add to that

Azaz
Bangura
Gilbert

as these three have shown glimpses of being good players for us.

Barlasar and Silvera have had plenty of game time but blow hot and cold. They're not consistent enough yet imo, but I'd persevere with them for another season.

I'll be sick as fcuk if we sell any of those players listed.

Out of the older players, Smith, Ayling Howson, and Clarke I'd keep on as they're the kind of experienced pros that every squad needs. They're consistent too.

Engel, Fry, Lenighan and Coburn can go if we need to raise money.

We had numpties saying sell Rogers for 5 mill. Now we have lunatics saying 15mill is a good fee for Latte Lath.

It is not 1997 any more.

I actually find it demoralising when our fans are so eager to give our players away for chicken feed.

They aren’t really ‘eager’ to give the players away for chicken feed you know?

They are just sharing a view which has no impact at all on whether he stays or goes.

We realistically stopped competing for promotion 3 weeks ago, so it worked wonders for our season 👍

We finally hit a bit of form with a striker playing well at the end of the season, and people are basically willing the club to sell him for a pittance.

It's one of the most irritating things for me with our fans.
A player does well and people can't wait to say things like "Enjoy it whilst it lasts, he won't be here long".
I didn’t say I was willing it’s just what I expect. It’s the place the club is at now, we buy, develop then sell

The question was what do you expect the club to sell for

Not

What would you sell the player for

I don't expect the club to sell our main striker after 1 injury interrupted season.

I'd be incredibly annoyed if they did sell him, we'd be back to square one yet again.
We're already short on strikers, it would be idiocy to sell the one fit one who's finally settling in and performing.

I think we can hang for another season, we have to look to Coventry who did the same with Gyokeres, who was scoring goals for fun and had the additional talent of providing a high number of assists in his last two seasons at Coventry before moving. I'm sure if we really want to we can resist outside pressure for a move and it might appeal to Latte as well to stay here for another year no matter what options there are elsewhere , he's not had two full seasons in a row playing at the same place, he might want to take this opportunity to progress his career and development and gamble on us getting promoted next season.
Either way I'm happy with the way the club are bringing in, developing and selling players, even if we sell LL I feel we are on upward curve of better young talent coming in and beingmore sustainable as well, you also have to assume that the club hierarchy want desperately promotion as well so if we do sell it's for the benefit of the club, but yeah it wouldn't feel great if he went.

I hope selling Rogers and Crooks gives us some room for keeping the key players this summer.

From this year's squad it looks like Glover, J Jones, McNair, Greenwood, O'Brien, Thomas and possibly Ayling won't be here next season. No money coming in for any of them.

I could see us selling Barlaser, one of Lenihan or Clarke, Dijksteel, and Coulson. Not Fry as I don't think he would go. Not much money there really. Perhaps £3-4m.

Out of the must no sells people have, I can see Dieng being the one that goes. Simply because of how much potential value the others have. Rav, Hackney, Lath could all end up being £25m plus players. Until we get that sort of offer, we are selling too early.

I think we got a good deal for Rogers given what we paid. The equivalent for Lath would be £35m or thereabouts. There's no way of calculating a potential value for Rav as he's clearly got a ridiculous ceiling and we got in very early.

It's going to be one hell of a summer I reckon.

Carrick said decisions on contacts will be made in the next week or so. That means we should know about Howson, Paddy, O'Brien, Greenwood and Ayling very soon. Then they know what they need if nothing changes in terms of outgoings.

Jesus wept. People just accepting the notion that we should sell for £15m need to realise that the answer to our financial worries is promotion. You do that by getting more than a season out of your best players, especially ones who know where the frigging net is.
Of course that is the answer. If you get the choice between selling your players or promotion then you pick promotion, but it’s not a choice unfortunately.

The aim is obviously to go up but I think we are doing the right thing by prioritising our financial footing at the moment. Last year’s books showed a dramatic decrease in the losses we have been making. If we can maintain that over the next couple of years whilst remaining as competitive as we are, maybe even start making profits, then that would be incredible for the club going forward.

There is still a chance of promotion whilst selling players, just like there is a chance of not being promoted whilst keeping them.

We seem to have the nucleus of a decent squad, we need to be smart with key quality additions, proven talent and the odd punt

It will be like every other transfer situation including Hackney and RDB. How much is offered and very significantly the attitude of the player.

Hopefully he can go under the radar a bit longer.

The fees premier league clubs are willing to pay are insane. If premier league clubs come in for our players we shouldn't be thinking what's a reasonable price, or even what's a good price. We should be thinking what is a crazy price for this player
So £30 million for ELL or eff off.👊

If we sell we might as well give up if we sell lathe. I actually don't think the club will look to sell though. Time is now to go for it, we won't have better opportunity. Three or four good editions and we can look for top 2.
