It’s not difficult to turn down at all - you just say NOHis form is terrific. Yet it's an double edged sword. The more he scores and impresses the more interest will come from other clubs.
I'm very confident that some have had him watched over the last few weeks. They couldn't fail to be impressed.
I have a feeling we may struggle to hang on to him this summer. Frankly we are in no position to turn down decent money for any player. That includes Hackney. We are a championship club. All championship clubs sell players. It's unfortunate but a fact.
So if a prem club or one of the newly promoted to the prem teams offered 15-20mil it would be very difficult to turn down. Almost impossible. Also you can't deny him the opportunity to double his wages and play in the top flight. The classic 'his head would be turned'.
You have to say last summer's recruitment is lookin superb. Latte Lath / Rav are going to be worth a few quid to anyone who wants them. That's on top of selling Rogers.
He has a goal something like every 73 minutesHow many goals has Chuba scored this season in that dutch league where Alves scored for fun
To be fair hasnt he been on the bench most the season

We had numpties saying sell Rogers for 5 mill. Now we have lunatics saying 15mill is a good fee for Latte Lath.
It is not 1997 any more.
I actually find it demoralising when our fans are so eager to give our players away for chicken feed.
I didn’t say I was willing it’s just what I expect. It’s the place the club is at now, we buy, develop then sellWe realistically stopped competing for promotion 3 weeks ago, so it worked wonders for our season
We finally hit a bit of form with a striker playing well at the end of the season, and people are basically willing the club to sell him for a pittance.
It's one of the most irritating things for me with our fans.
A player does well and people can't wait to say things like "Enjoy it whilst it lasts, he won't be here long".

The question was what do you expect the club to sell for
Not
What would you sell the player for
Of course that is the answer. If you get the choice between selling your players or promotion then you pick promotion, but it’s not a choice unfortunately.Jesus wept. People just accepting the notion that we should sell for £15m need to realise that the answer to our financial worries is promotion. You do that by getting more than a season out of your best players, especially ones who know where the frigging net is.
