I do love an EV thread.

The Mercedes Benz EQB 350 4Matic 215kW AMG Line has just been added to our company car list, and it looks the business, with a 260 mile range.

Has anyone seen one in the flesh or driven one? whats the feedback? Is it better than a Polestar 2 dual motor?
I hate the continuous strip of light across the whole of the rear. Looks terrible and is annoying if you're driving behind one. Apart from that I don't get the obsession with SUV style cars. I thought the aim was to make cars more efficient, and producing a bigger profile and heavier vehicles strikes me as counterintuitive.

I actually like the light bar. so many modern cars have one now too!

I completely get you about the SUV styling thing too: I had a few discussions about people wanting to buy a fast tesla and saying whether to go for the model y performance or the model 3 Performance. It's a complete no brainer to me: The only reason to get a "p" is because you want out and out performance. So why go for the Y? A car heavier, less aerodynamic, slower and with less range

Do you want to know what type of slippers my wife wears?
I'd like to know 2 things.

1. What your previous comment about private messages was meant to mean.

2. Why you seem to take such umbrage at people asking you which EV you have. You've criticised it and complained about it, it's quite a normal thing for someone to enquire about following you doing this.

Sorry what?!

If it's the truth and you actually own an EV why not just say which one? Why the secrecy?
He's trying to bash EV so making up porkies. It's a common theme. It's very telling that he daren't say what EV he has or what is wrong with it.

Sounds a bit walter mitty to me.

It's quite an important point that Same as Before, who styles himself as the voice and saviour of the working classes won't potentially save someone tens of thousands of pounds in buying a dodgy car because he won't name it.

As I said, something definitely fishy about his tales here.

I get private messages of an individual, I will leave it at that.

I would not give that individual a clue to anything private. I live in St Petersburg.

My name is Sue, ask Jonny Cash it has always been a problem.

What has that got to do with me? Given it was a point you made in response to me.

So you're worried about giving away clues but you'll say where you live but not what you drive? That makes no sense.

I will give you another clue, I don't live in St Petersburg and my name is not Sue.

And to think people were worried about your mental health. You seem a picture of stability here 🤣🤣🤣

Anyway back on topic and ignoring the lies of the original post:

Very tempted to ditch the Tesla for a Polestar. The OH was not happy at all with the interior room but it's more "me" than the Tesla, so much better built.

I love the choice you have now in the mid range: Polestars, ID.4, EQA, E-tron, EV6, Ioniq, Mustang. I'm glad it's getting more competitive.
