Is Braverman trying to get sacked?

Bravermans words and incitement has given oxygen to the fire of the far right mob who will be itching for a scrap - whether its ten minutes or ten miles away from the Cenotaph. She has deliberately fanned the flames and is looking to this weekend as a pretext to enforce even more draconian crack-downs on the legitimate right to protest. This is no accident.

Sunak knows that she's backed by the big money in his party. She is at the very heart of the RW cabal Johnson was left with after his coup, when all reasonable Tories walked away. Sunak is more akin to Major, albeit in these extreme days not as moderate. But compared to her he is. But he's also weak and is desperately trying to hold onto the reins of the mad, runaway horse that is the Conservative Party these days. It can't and won't last. He'll either sack her, in which case they'll descend into utter civil war or hang on and she'll take over after the next election. Either way, at the next election they'll run the nastiest campaign in living memory.
Great post. If Sunak doesn’t sack her he’s even weaker than he is now….he sacks her and he knows she is coming for him and his election preparation is all the more difficult (if not impossible) therefore, no good outcomes for him, just the least worst 🤣

Hate the lot of them and amazing to watch them fight together….
He’s hard right and she’s a fascist What a fcuking pair running the country. 🙈🤷‍♂️

Yaxley-Lennon or his thug associates will oblige. I wouldn't even be surprised if Braverman has agents provocateur embedded in the cease-fire demo who have been instructed to initiate violence. We are now at the burning of the Reichstag stage.

There are links with zionist-funding of Yaxley, which explains his turn-out at every anti-muslim rally wrapped in the Israeli flag. That in itself isnt unusual: the Israeli`s have diplomatic ties and cordial` antante`s with Governments and leaders like Viktor Orban, who`s party is openly anti-semitic.

I don't mind if she gets Sunak the sack and wins the leadership vote, as there will be nothing left of the party after that anyway.

There is 0% she makes it to PM, and even if she did she would be nailed on to kill the Tory party anyway, so it's win win I think.

Having her in there at the minute is like a Labour plant to me, it's like she's intent on bringing the party down from the inside and outside, crazy.

There will definitely be extreme right wingers amongst the genuine protesters.
Not a new trick, but one that has a proven track record.

The story this morning is Rishi is considering ‘a cabinet reshuffle and he MIGHT sack Braverman!’

How weak is he? Just sack her man!!

Whilst in no way defending Sunak I do think he needs to sack Braverman early next week and not before Sunday.

If Braverman goes before then it would be used by those intent on causing trouble on Sunday as validation to their cause and give Braverman, although she's not one to pay too much attention to the Ministerial Code at the best of times, carte blanche to incite violence and reprisals.

Let's not try and paint this any other way our Home Secretary is deliberately and purposefully taking a course of action at odds with Government policy that is likely to course civil unrest, violence with the real possibility of loss of life and injury, an Orwellian nightmare come reality.

Given that the Braverman's husband is jewish.
I wonder how he feels about the fact that the people she is trying to mobilise to "defend the cenotaph", are the same people who were giving nazi salutes at said cenotaph previously?
Her husband also served in the IDF and describes himself as a "proud Jew and Zionist" [https://www.theguardian.com/politic...courter-of-controversy-thirst-tory-leadership] and she has familial ties to the IDF. That might colour her opinion on the Peace March for the Palestinians?
Or it may just be shes a biggoted, authoritarian racist?

This morning it’s being reported that the RW swivel eyed Mp’s have told Sunak
“If you go for Sewer-Ella, you go for us”

I was laughing last night as you had two of the deputy chairs of the party giving contradictory opinions on what she'd said.

You've then also got Nadine Dorries in the background trying to promote her book about Johnson.

They really are a shambolic bunch of charlatans.
