Is Tyson Fury the biggest fraud in boxing?

Looks like he's pulling out of the Usyk fight again due to an 'injury' - he's already avoided him back in the Spring. Fury is more than likely attempting to wait and target him when he's aged a couple more years or hope he gets beat so he can say he doesn't have to fight him. But can't see Usyk hanging around for that long, he's all business and wants to fight everybody now.

Usyk has upcoming mandatories against Joyce and Hrgovic coming up, but it might be worthwhile him targeting the Wilder fight to replace Fury. It would be a massive fight and his performance against Wilder could be measured in comparison to what Fury did. It would also mean that Usyk's record would be better - Wilder and Joshua x2 is better than Klitschko and Wilder x3.

Yeah, looks like it's off... :ROFLMAO:

Fury is around 18 months younger than Usyk. It may not seem much but it's quite significant when you consider their styles. Usyk has the best feet in the division and one of the first things to slow down is a boxer's feet. If the feet slow down - so do punches, reflexes are another thing to go as well. This is contrary to punching power and size advantage which don't really deteriorate with age. So an aging Fury would likely have a much better chance against an aging Usyk. But of course we want to see the fight when both are at or near their prime which is now.

With regards to Fury beating Usyk any time and having no reason to avoid the fight; it's simple - just have the fight. Why avoid it if there's no reason to? It doesn't make sense.

Just to note, Usyk beats Fury easily, Fury knows it and that's why he won't take the fight.
Knowing your tipping record it’s Fury for me! Expo, you are a disaster when tipping. You couldn’t tip a winner in a one horse race!

Feel a bit more confident of this one actually happening but once again, I’ll believe it when I see them both in the ring.

An interesting fight and I’d like Usyk to win.

A Fury win would at least stop the regular threads with posters doing mental gymnastics to try and prove Joshua’s CV is somehow superior.

He was on Chris Evans breakfast show this morning talking about his new book , I think it’s about his Wilder trilogy and some ‘revelations’ about the back room goings on..

He came across very well and quite moving at times.. evans was struggling to hold it in as he questioned him..

He said his current focus is on the Uysk fight in February and is committed to it..

You just sound like he's biggest hater.

Let's hope the fight happens very soon then. It looked like Fury was setting a narrative to avoid the fight, but if he says it's happening in Feb-Mar, then fair enough.

It will certainly interesting to see how the fight plays out. In terms of boxing ability, Usyk is levels above Fury, but Usyk is giving 4 stone away. Can Fury's significant size advantage compensate for Usyk's significant skills advantage. I think Usyk wins as he'll know what to do against the much bigger man. But the fight needs to be fought, not simulated.

Fury was stating he had to have one possibly two operations after his last fight so I’m not sure how “early 2023” it will be! I hope it happens - think it will be a good fight - I think fury wins.

I think it will be a year before we see Joshua in with decent opposition - his next fight will be a knock over and given he tends to fight twice a year - I don’t think we will see him with anyone decent anytime soon. I think Hearn and DAZN will just milk him for what he’s worth and keep him away from the top guys for the next year at least. They will throw in names like Wilder just to keep our attention but I can’t see that ever happening.

If Fury v Usyk goes ahead it could be an incredible fight. Both are excellent boxers so it will be interesting to see who comes out of top.

I think probably you are expo, the biggest fraud in boxing! :p

Genuinely think that the winner of however many fights they have could move into the top 15 of all time at heavyweight. I didn’t think it was possible for anyone in this era to be able to do that given the opponents available but Usyk and Fury have elevated themselves enough that the winner will get so much credit. They could even push top 10 but with a win over Joyce.

If Usyk wins you can put him very high on a pound for pound all time list.

Fury is a tool, would love to see Usyk knock him out. Unfortunately can't see it - Fury just too big compared to Usyk.

Can't see anything but a Fury win. His height and reach is a huge advantage. Plus he's one hell of a boxer.

I love Usyk and think he's brilliant, but I don't think he'll beat Fury.

As for the biggest fraud in boxing? Give over.
