Yeah, McNair signed the year before Jones.

I'd like him to extend too, personally, though I don't think it's a huge shock if he does leave.

Good signing, he's deserved the contract extension, he had his best year in terms of goals and goal involvements, It keeps continuity in the squad, allows us to invest elsewhere. So it's good news. With Van Den Berg effectively committing his future to us in the mid-week Dutch interview then the doom mongers will be gutted. We need signing but if we can start the season with a first XI that looks similar to our best squad today, but with everyone fit, then we should be able to get a good start unlike the last couple of seasons. I'm hoping to hear Ayling has signed in the next couple of weeks. Defending is OK for this level, his work rate and delivery from out wide is top notch. He'd get double figure assists in a full season with us

Brilliant news. Been a great signing given the amount we paid for him. Glad he is settled and he seems to be enjoying his football again.

Just needs to work on his finishing and crossing and he'd absolutely tear this league up!
