I think that’s why we brought silvera on.I thought it was crying out for LL to come on when Jones nearly got a second yellow and when his legs had gone. Those fresh legs running at them on the break would have killed them off.
Do 2 starts and 8 late sub appearances across two seasons count as picking him regularly?Excellent today....another one that Neil Warlock picked regularly
Now others around me said the same but I honestly think had he made that pass the Lino’s flag would have been straight up.
I thought the officials were very suss.
It’s definitely why we brought Silvera on but I would have preferred to see LL come on. He’s a better player than Silvera but it could have been Carrick putting Silvera on to get a bit of confidence back after his poor showing on Tuesday.I think that’s why we brought silvera on.
Neil gave him the chance, same with Jones probably our best 2 players today JonoDo 2 starts and 8 late sub appearances across two seasons count as picking him regularly?
VerySome weird offside decisions.
Excellent today. But let's see if he is good enough down the line. Does not look to me to have too many goals at this level in him but his hold up play was superb.
Would have liked to see Lath come on to play with him when Crooked went off.
Thought Crooked link up with Jones today was good as well.
Our two players in the centre were behind the ball. No chance of offside. It would have made the rest of the game much easier.I think that’s why we brought silvera on.
I think the same. He reminded me of Chuba when he played number 9. It never worked as he could not be found in the box and was outnumbered. Put him deeper at number 10. He can hold the ball up, use his strength and link up play like Chuba used to do. He can then get in the box later in the attacking move with space to score. This would also allow Lathe to play the Archer role and use his pace to get in behind their defence and pick up Coburn’s flick ons.Yeah his hold up play was very good… the ball “stuck to him” more than anyone we’ve had since a certain gent left for Amsterdam.
Might be more suited to a deeper role with Latte ahead of him running in behind
