Seems like a genuine football man to me. Of course he can’t give loads of details of the inner workings of the club away, but I don’t think he’s sat there trying to fool anybody either.
I don’t think he’s setting out to sell some great vision and get us all onboard. It’s not like he’s making huge claims or promises or talking about success. He’s just talking fairly realistically.
Which bits do you think aren’t genuine?

Fingers crossed for the Carrick contract. Hopefully sales are limited, we get a new training pitch (!) and we can get in some quality for him to work with. Then we'll be a proper force.

We got brand new training pitches in the summer for the first team. They’re the grass/plastic hybrid type and supposed to replicate the one at the riverside. Maybe we should go back to good old fashioned grass!
