I agree, people make mistakes. But he's hardly husband/dad of the year all the same.

If I'm being honest, I don't actually care. He will start for England in Germany and hopefully bring the trophy home, most people will forget about stuff like this in that scenario.

There will be a lot of sensible footballers but the fame and fortune brings more attention. If you are getting offers every time you go out then for that type of person it's probably difficult to say no to. The "lad" culture in football still persists as well so even in their mid-30s like Walker they haven't really grown up because they've been in the same environment their entire lives.

Don't think anyone is screaming for him to be locked up and the key throw away. And there are many different circumstances of course. It's never a great look, but if you're in an unhappy relationship for example it's more understandable.

But Walker describes his Mrs as his "soul mate" and has kids with her. Think it's pretty clear he's been a massive bell end. Would probably say as much himself from the sounds of it.
