Leeds

I’ve just a read through some of arguments on Twitter. I don’t agree it’s a closed shop. Only 3 games have sold out before general sale. Blackburn, Bolton, Bradford, Sheffield W and Coventry all made general sale and aren’t at the other end of the country. People can’t go to no away games and just get a ticket to the most popular matches such as Leeds and Sunderland.

However there’s some very disingenuous arguments, such as people claiming the points system is perfect whilst also claiming it’s their right or even a perk to be able to pass their tickets onto others with insufficient points.

This is the issue I have with the system only able to go to the far away games as gold season ticket holders gobble up all the Sunderland and Leeds Game allocations.
This is simply not true. I have two 70 point STs on my account, having only held one in this stint for a few years. I go to about a quarter of away games and, on the admittedly rare occasions that we get one, to most home cup ties. I can’t remember the last time a league game didn’t come down to my points level. Certainly, I had enough for Sunderland although I didn’t go and I have a ticket for Leeds. It is simply false that only gold card ticket holders could secure these. You didn’t even have to be that regular an away attender to build up enough points.

Those with tickets…not many LNER trains on 2 December
TPE probably be rammed
