Lets Rock The North East ..

I've never heard of Roland Gift, but I'd pay to see Roland Rat. Or even Edd the Duck.

Not a rock band in sight 😵‍💫 although Midge Ure did fill in briefly as a guitarist for Thin Lizzy on one of their American tours in the 70’s 👍🏻

Fine Young Cannibals we’re quite big in the 80s to be honest.

I’m not sure what people think is a correct price point anymore, if you like the 80s £50 is probably a decent price.

As someone points out at least you’re guaranteed entertainment and an enjoyable day, remind me what would it cost me to see the Boro next week???

Oh that's really embarrassing. I never knew the guy's name but he's bloody brilliant.

The lineup is actually amazing, particularly for a local thing. It's not my taste, but there's some huge acts there.

I was running the parkrun this summer when the event was at Herrington Country Park - people were turning up at 9am for the day and coming in from all over. It was absolutely packed out. What a big result for our town. And as for the price, well, for lots of these acts the money didn't ever quite trickle down to the artists after everyone else was taking their cut - I think they deserve to actually get paid for a change.
Got to be good for the town and Teesside.

£50 not bad for a day of music. Blast from the past.
Looked at tickets for ELO last year and Fleetwood Mac. ELO cheapest was £137 and FM £148.

I have done let’s rock the last 4 years it’s been on. It’s a cracking day the drinks are expensive but the music is brilliant and loads get dressed up for a laugh all good fun. Took my 17 yr old this year he loved it and got his ticket today same as me. Delighted it’s in the Boro next year will be a huge success

About half the bill is ok the rest gash but only my opinion. Human League were great last few times I have seen them as were Hue & Cry. Which Beat? Midge Ure should be ok and Tony Hadlee. Not really my cuppa but might go as there is no travel involved and not a bad price for line up. I know people who have paid more today to see Hollywood Vampires in Scarborough who are a glorified covers band.
